I paid $21.50 for 2 sweet potato milkshakes from Banana Mousse. I’m beyond annoyed because I really wanted to see what the hype was about with this sweet potato shake and wanted to show some support after the window incident happened… I really had high hopes. I had been here once before and the birthday cake shake was delicious. This time drove 2 hours total.. 1 hour to west Philly to get this shake and 1 hour back home… it was not it to say the least. It was so thick that I couldn’t taste it while I was there…..took 20 minute to be able to sip it through the straw to see if I did like or not…I would have asked for something else if I was able to try it sooner. Mine tasted like a bunch of pie crust. My friend said hers tasted like mostly sweet potato baby food and mine tasted like a bunch of crust with a splash of sweet potato. To me, it wasn’t giving sweet potato pie. Others might enjoy but hard pass for me. I would love to give them another try. The young lady there was a sweetheart, very nice with a...
Read moreHard to find but once we found it 😱😳 OMG !!!! SOOOOOglad we took the trip .... Found it on Instagram 🤣 my son n I decided to do a mid afternoon wth drive ... The fruity pebbles is like a strawberry milkshake on steroids and to absolutely die for!!!! Not too sweet either .... The kookies n milk milkshake was on point!!!! Will say tho the kookies n milk mousse was great but very indulgent and sweet definitely a sharable item ... It's a bit on the higher end of pricing for the area 😐😕😶buuuut being a small business I paid it n bought extra.... I would tone the pricing down though, it's waaaaay better than a visit to Franklin fountain for Philly guests (which has lines wrapped around the block n I still can't figure out why 🧐🙄😒) their hours tho r very very limited (not a fan because of traffic ) n literally right at rush hour times like 2-6 .... Come on guys that's a bit disrespectful lol 😆 but again worth it but...

I follow them on Instagram!” Since we were already on our way, she decided that she wanted to come back, so she looked to see what time they closed to see if we would be able to come back. The whole time I’m thinking to myself, “What’s all the hype about?” Any lingering doubts that I had were quelled as soon we stepped in the place. It is a Black-owned family business (a mother and her children), and the entire staff of family gave us warm greetings, which made us FEEL like family immediately! I was impressed by the family-oriented atmosphere, but there was more; these colossal milk shakes that turned out to be bliss in a cup! Fast, friendly and professional service in a family setting with top-notch milkshakes and mousses made to order made this place everything my wife assumed it to be, and made...
