1 year update to my original review If the product itself wasn’t consistent with literally every Starbucks location, I wouldn’t come to this location. I’ve had minor hiccups with my orders, but nothing egregious enough to write this store off entirely.
The drive-thru layout was designed poorly. It is often too long to queue in because it’s backed up all the way to the stop light at aramingo, but it also makes it almost impossible to get into the plaza for any of the other businesses.
I couldn’t fit my work truck in the drive-thru today, so I ended up inside to expected chaos. I already knew, if I was lucky to find an open table to sit at, I’d be there for the better part of 30 minutes with it covered in crumbs and flies. Yup, that’s exactly how it was.
And in waiting for my drinks, it was amusing to watch one barista let her friends distract her, be obnoxious, and get their drinks made because they stopped her from helping make everyone else’s orders. I might be off my mark, they may have been staff on break or waiting for their shift to start. If that’s the case, it just seems like a poor representation of the business itself.
Why do you even care what my name is at the cash register if your staff can’t be bothered to say anyone’s name audibly? They either did not say the name in order at all or the only way I knew they said a name was watching a barista’s lips move.
Just incredibly disappointed with this location that I was initially excited to have so close to home. It’s not bad enough to warrant going to Dunkin’ and still beats the Wawa up the way, but I can’t figure out why they can’t pull it together. Half the stay at least carries themselves in a way that at minimum acknowledges they are at work, and I’m sure they’d be happier if they weren’t carrying the weight of the other half of their team. The other half of the staff legit seems to treat their job as if there will always be another job immediately available to them.

Read moreThere’s one chick that works on Saturdays that ALWAYS gets our drink wrong. Without fail, lol. It’s become funny at this point. We come here often and the weekday team is really amazing and gets it right.
But I gotta tell you guys about Saturday chick.
Each time, we order our usual Oat Milk Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. For anyone who knows this drink, the espresso sits on the bottom and the oat milk sits on top, making this beautiful ombre fade from milk to espresso.
First Saturday, she made it and it arrived looking and tasting like an iced americano. Dark brown all the way through. She and her colleague insisted that she made it correctly and that I should have just requested it to be more sweet. The guy remade the drink for me, but added several extra pumps of syrup, that I didn’t ask for. At least it was almost right. The guy kind of gaslit me and over corrected, so I was just eager to GTFO of there.
Today, we come and the guy’s not there. Our Venti shows up as a Grande. Ticket says VT for Venti. At least it looks right this time, though! We ask one of the other women behind the counter if they can remake our drink and she kindly obliges, but hands the cup back to the chick that got our drink wrong last time. Chick remakes the drink and another grande comes out, lol! We go back to her coworker and ask her to help us make it instead because it was wrong again. She is on a different station, so she hands it back to the chick that gets it wrong and was like — “it’s a venti.” Third time, the chick hands us a venti oat milk brown sugar shaken espresso. Third...
Read moreI usually try to put negatively aside because you never know if it's someone's first day at work and they are a little inexperienced. But this particular starbicks is the worst I ever been too( in Philadelphia and other states I traveled to.im 40 and been getting starbucks since I was maybe 19 / 20 yrs of age. I majority of the time order ahead. This particular day after ordering ahead for myself and my daughter I pulled into the drive thru to pick up our order. And half was wrong.( your literally reading a mobile order) my daughter Frappuccino was correct. My hot Carmel Machiato (5 shot espresso ,raw sugar xtra whip)was not. They made me a frozen Caramel Frappuccino. I politely told her what ordered and paid for. She kindly took back the Frappuccino and related the message yo the barista.. I heard the ignorant remarks but chose to ignore them. When I received the hot Carmel machiato it was not correct. I refuse to loose my cool infront of my daughter so I pulled off. This coffee wasn't free. And ghetto has no place in starbucks. I will continue to travel to the Red lion, grant ave and Haverford location's and deal with traffic and travel time. We finally get a stsrbucks in our neighborhood and we have to accept incorrect orders. Ignorance and ratchet behavior. Management isn't any better. I have a story time on that subject also at aramingo location. I wish I could take o picture of my coffee only half way filled... well I did add the 2...
