Tex’s Chicken & Burgers — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Food was great! The staff were very friendly, but I think they were newer and it was clearly understaffed. I noticed 2 times during my wait in the line that two different people came in to complain about their orders: one for too few fries, one for something else that must have been a mistake. They quickly corrected this however and kindly. With my order, there was also an incorrect issue as they didn't add something I asked for. But I went back and explained and they were more than polite and jumped right to correcting it for me. I could tell they were swamped all day and with this covid thing, I'm sure not many are allowed back there, hence being understaffed. My family and I just love Texas. They use the highest quality of chicken and beef. My husband and I love the grilled chicken sandwich combo meal. We have this meal weekly. I have the option to go to the location on Cottman ave since I live closer but I like the cashier at the Kensington location better. I told this black girl cashier their chicken sandwich is better than McDonalds anyday! I forgot her name, but she has a nice attitude and very knowledgeable about their products. She's always there at night when I come. I even tipped her a few bucks one time. My children love their sweet potato pie and chicken. They have speedy service after 7pm for hungry night outers. I wish they had their restaurants spread out more. That way I would have them near wherever I am. ...

I was waiting 15 minutes then they ask me what did I order, BTW NOBODY IS WEARING A MASK DURING A PANDEMIC WHERE ITS A REQUIREMENT. I say in a nice way what I ordered they go in give me my two burgers than say have a nice night, I politely wait and get her attention and tell her honey were still missing the two cheese fries and sodas, another 10 minutes goes by she hands me just the fries, I than wait again to get her attention to ask for the two sodas which she than gives them to me in these kid cups, I could understand if I had a large order but you mess up two regular orders cmon now.
