Wawa — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I usually have no problems with this place. However, today had me very much upset. On 10/3/21 I ordered two scrambled eggs on a roll. It was busy so we ended up waiting about ten minutes. Eventually we noticed when they were making our sandwiches and it didn’t look right, it was not scrabbled eggs it was literally blocks of dried eggs! I’m not even kidding and then they had the nerve to put the wrong cheese on the sandwich. After opening it up In the store I went back and told them this is not what I asked for. They were very ignorant and told us they didn’t have anymore that’s why they were making the sandwiches like that. Then said a refund is going to take an hour trying to make us take the food. I definitely snapped and said well you guys should have said something instead of trying to get people for their money. Another lady even mentioned “we are on the same boat” as we walked back to the register. Luckily, the guy at the cashier was very understanding and got us our refund with no problems. Recently, I had lost my wallet and was retracing my steps as to where I might have lost it. I had remembered the last place I visited was this Wawa to pick up some snacks for my daughter. I live very nearby to this Wawa so it is my go-to Wawa as I come here frequently. Though I was very doubtful and hesitant to ask, I went this morning to ask an employee about if I left my wallet on a counter somehow and was hoping an employee took it to a safe and secure place. She went to the back and spoke with the manager, I believe. A gentleman came out, went to a nearby counter and come to find out, my wallet went kept safe and sound in a locked cabinet. I was so freaking happy and relieved, you have no idea. And I can't believe it was kept there for 2 days! I lost it on Monday, didn't really go anywhere Tuesday, but this morning I had some errands to run and when I found out my wallet wasn't in my purse, I obviously freaked out. I really appreciated everyones patience and kindness towards me as I was very hesitant to ask as I had doubt that my wallet would be there and also, the fact it was the morning time which is, as we all know, a very busy time for everyone. This is by far the worst Wawa I’ve ever been to. The staff here are unbelievably rude and unhelpful. I ordered a Caesar salad and paid for an extra egg and extra Caesar dressing. When I asked for an additional Caesar dressing (which I was more than willing to pay for), the employee flat out refused and told me to look for it at the counter. The packets on the counter were not the same Caesar dressing that actually comes with the salad, and when I explained that, they just brushed me off.

Every other Wawa I’ve been to has no issue with this — sometimes they even give you extra dressing for free. But this location? Always the same nonsense. Every time I come here, the staff act like they don’t care at all about customers, and it feels impossible to get even the simplest request done right.

Terrible service, terrible attitude. Avoid this Wawa if you can.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. Not even -5, because this dump doesn’t deserve that much. The staff here are the rudest, most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with, and this Wawa is by far the worst location...
