Poppy & Co Cafe — Restaurant in Philipsburg

The atmosphere is less than desirable. It reminds me of an old church basement that hosts fundraiser dinners. The food was bland which explains why so many older ppl frequent the restaurant. If the price isn't listed you're almost guaranteed that it's $10. $10 isn't expensive at all but the quantity and quality doesn't equal out to $10. What isn't homemade comes from either Sam's Club or a cheap food vendor. The canned soda is extremely over priced I mean I could buy two 2 liters cheaper and have change leftover. The owner sounds worse than Rachael Ray's screeching voice! I walked out of that place with a headache from her back in the kitchen consistently yelling. Seriously though, don't waste your time this place truly isn't the best choice. You will much rather be satisfied with a competitor or chain...

Wonderful experience! The decor is country style mom and pop kitchen. So cute! I came here early on a weekday and was only one of 3-4 other patrons at a time. The waitress was very attentive to everyone and quick. I didn't order right away but she still checked on me often and made sure I was ok. When I finally did order, it didn't take long and the food was yummy. I ordered the salmon entree. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The sides were good too! The hot chocolate I ordered was delicious and came out quick. Everyone here greeted me at first sight and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Even other patrons were kind and friendly. Came here later in the evening, with no reservation, and was able to get seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and informative of the menu options available, that evening.
