Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Phoenix

First of all people need to realize that for the most part the "Covid" world we were once living in; is over and businesses making up their business plan on a daily basis has been over for quite sometime, and is not acceptable. I have been coming to this "Dairy Queen," for at least 40 years! And over the past 6 months it has gone downhill quickly! The store hours are posted on the door and online, tonight closing was posted as 10:30 pm, I arrived at 9:05 and was informed their kitchen was closed! Their was nothing posted after such time they were only serving a "limited Menu," I mean if your going to close your kitchen for God's sake just close! So, I proceeded to order a Banana Split. When the guy gave it to me it was completely frozen! Are you for real! I totally did not expect to get frozen bananas, toppings and even the whip cream was frozen! When I asked where the nuts were? I was informed the nuts were extra and the cherry on top...well no more cherry either! I paid almost 7 dollars for a Grose frozen banana split! If this is what Dairy Queen is all about now! I think next time I will make my own at home! I mean for the same price I should be able to make at least 4 for the same price. I would highly suggest if you plan on going to this store? Call ahead because who knows if they are going to be open and selling food. I hope they get their act together before this place is just a fond memory of days gone by. This place is horrible they cant admit when they were wrong n they dont try and make things right...i ordered a cheesecake royal blizzard n i dont knw what she did to it but it was not good so i get home n see that she put chocolate in it so i call n talk to the manager n she tells me to bring it back n they'll remake it n im telling her no im not wasting gas n not getting anything in return so she says ill talk to the owner which she doesnt do cuz he or she didnt call me back n let me knw whats going on so i call n i talk 2 the person in charge n she says jst bring receipt n ill remake it so i bring it the next day n they say they cant do it without the drink n im like that's not what they said when i called.so again i waste gas.and the owner still hasnt called me.dont go to this place ever they r rude n dont return calls.they dont even knw there restaurant policys.or there own number...the one on dunlap n 43rd is way better n they know how to make things right...DONT COME HERE EVER!!!...

I was disappointed there is no drive-thru at this location as it was hot and I had been running errands all day. I parked and went to the door and WHOA!

This DQ is tiny. As in 2.5 little tables. There were 3 people in line ahead of me, and 2 trying to exit. 1 door, 3 feet of space, 5 people already inside and there was no room to step inside out of the heat.

I can't rate the service, food, or cleanliness of this DQ as I exited 12 seconds after I entered, not willing to suffer from heat stroke while waiting for a soft serve cone, lol. I will make another attempt to visit this location in December.

Of note, there is a shool (middle/high?) within walking distance of the DQ and all the customers inside and those who had left as I parked were most likely students (or I was feeling extra old that day and they just looked young!) I'm sure this location is typically extra busy right after school, so I will try to visit at non-peak...
