El mitote Raspados — Restaurant in Phoenix

Hi fellow people looking for great authentic Mexican food in the south Phoenix valley.

Today we make this place infamous for the terrible service they showed a mulatto child who came to visit this establishment and wanted ice cream.

At 5pm today I came here with my family and spent over 30 bucks for various items on the menu. (As photographed) The original young man who rung up my order was amazing, kind, helpful and patient.

As we ordered and sat down to wait. You will see from the photos attached I was very happy photographing the place and posting photos to Instagram.

Moreover when The young man who rung us up finally brought our order we were so happy as we left however my son noticed he didn’t get his one scoop waffle cone ice cream that I requested with our order.

Nevertheless, I sent my 10 year old son as you see in the photograph, back into the establishment. He waited behind several families and was over looked. After waiting for him to return to the car after 5 minutes; I went into see why my son hadn’t returned with his ice cream cone.

Therefore, at this point we had been there for 30 minutes! That’s $1 dollar a minute!

Pretty expensive, right ?

Finally, I take my receipt to the new older guy at the register and express to him that I ordered a waffle cone for my son with my order at 5pm and I never got it.

He took my receipt began to look and question my story in front of a room full of customers.

Additionally, I explain that I asked for a waffle cone at the time of my order. He prints a copy of my receipt, which I had texted to my mobile device and I tell him my order number. He says “that I paid for a regular cone $1.89 for a regular cone and next time I should look at my receipt.” I said “I respect you printing out the receipt to verify. However as a paying customer who has been waiting over 30 minutes for an order and this is my first time visiting this place based on the google reviews and trying to support a local business and I am treated this way!”

I am never one to pull a power card but as a mother; when my time, money and self worth is mistreated!

What you will learn is a valuable business and life lesson about the way you treat people and today is your day business!

You see what you will learn is that, I might not remember your basic elote, stale chips, tasteless cheese sauce, dirty kitchen, no restroom having, and hard ice cream that could barely be scraped from the bin.

However, I will always remember how your establishments behavior made my son and I feel today over a misunderstanding worth $1.61 cents.

Let’s be clear here Old man, said to me that next time I order I should check my receipt as if I am on his payroll.

Sweetheart, I will not do your job!

In conclusion, I hope it was worth arguing with a Human Resource manager over because I have taken this to the better business bureau.
