New China — Restaurant in Phoenix

Has been my favorite Chinese restaurant buffet for a long time. The resaurant itself is pretty small compared to other Chinese restaurants but In my opinion the food tastes better there then in other Chinese restaurants I've been to. The one thing I don't recommend though is causing any type of trouble. The owner is a lady who is very strict and though I've never personally have had any problems with her I've seen many people who have. Well I believe this is there fault. One rule people try to brush away is the rule that if your taking food to go and you can't close the lid of the container holding the food you have to pay extra. People always try to get away with this I've seen about 4 times people get angry at her after she strictly told them that if they weren't able to close it they would have to pay extra. It's like seriously! you knew what you were doing don't try to act like the victim now! Also if you have small children keep them well behaved. Another experienced I witnessed was where this woman was letting her children run around the restaurant and they were touching the food and that just absolutely made me hate that woman and her kids especially when she got really defensive and angry when the owner personally came out and told her to keep her children under control. But I'm happy she did that because I wouldn't want a bunch of booger fingers touching the food I paid to eat to my heart's content! If you respect the restuarant and its rules you will have a good experience if not then I really can't say what...

The female owner/psycho is SO rude!!!! If she spent more time cooking the food and providing customer service as she does watching the patrons food on to go plates this place MAY be something. I saw her actually look into the trash to see if someone was wasting too much food. Anyway will NOT be coming here again. The food is a 3 on its best day but the service brings everything down to a 0!

P.S. I saw her also bully an elderly man following him to his car and standing behind it preventing him from backing out. Because she wanted him to pay $3 because his to go plate wouldn't close. So the man came inside rightfully requesting a refund. (Keep in mind the restaurant has patrons, and they are all watching this so he's probably emberessed.) She denies it, stating that all sales are final. (But if all sales are final, why follow him to the car?) So psycho owner grabs tongs from the food bar and picks out all the excess food that is preventing his plate from closing. But, here's the kicker.....she THROWS his food in the trash!!!!!! If ever there was a time for a community to protest a business that has NO respect for the people in the community this is definitely...

I felt really discriminated against . NEVER will I go back . My cousin, little niece (3 year old) , and I walked in and I was only going to pay for 2 adult because my niece had just ate at home and she clearly stated she was not going to eat . The guy that was charging wanted to charge me 2 extra dollars for her when she was not even going to pick at the food nonetheless eat it. He refused to give us service and refused to take our money because he "HAD" to charge 2 dollars extra. If I knew my niece was going to eat I had no problem paying but like I stated before, she said she wasn't hungry . The guy went to the back and I asked if he was going to serve us, he said no and we walked out . I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...
