The girl in the drive through was exceptionally rude. Kept cutting me off as I was trying to order food for my family. She was audibly irritated each time I added another meal. It really wasn’t that complicated considering half the meals were the same. She’s lucky 2 of my kids didn’t want to eat there, and I’m honestly glad too because giving this location any more of my hard earned money is not what I will do anymore. They don’t work hard for their money and don’t care if they get yours or now. When I got to the window she continued to cut me off three times when I was asking for a particular salsa and insisting that she put salsa in there. How can you know which salsa if you keep cutting me off? Even then, three, quarter filled containers of salsa is not enough for 6 people.
When I asked the girl to stop cutting me off she just glared and laughed at me. I parked and went inside to talk to a manager. I wish I was over exaggerating her attitude but given half of the reviews over the last 6 months complaining about the rude girl in the drive through, I don’t know that it’s possible to over exaggerate her attitude. The manager didn’t seem to care. He says he’s the district manager but I’m very skeptical of that. He does present or conduct himself in a professional enough manner to maintain such a position. The girl kept parading back and forth laughing at me. She walked over to a couple other employees and started pointing at me and laughing about a cyst on my face that I just had biopsied. To go as far as making fun of someone who may have cancer should be fireable offense. She walked around confident that her job was secure and she could do whatever she wants. Even the district manager said that he can’t legally fire her in the state of Arizona. Just shows what he knows. Arizona is an at Will state, you can fire someone for any reason at all. My guess is she has something on the management there. It’s the only way she can have job security with the way she treats people.
All that said, go to the Bell location or the one off 17. So much better. They actually value your hard...
Read moreThe customer service isn't all that great. And truthfully, I was there at the counter when a customer who wasn't happy with her chicken breast approached the counter. She felt it was undercooked. She asked kindly to exchange it. The lady that helped her got so mad that she wanted a different piece. She was literally slaughtering the new chicken she CHOPPED IN ANGER as a replacement. The manager noticed her attitude, tried to be kind to the customer...who also noticed her attitude BTW. To worker takes the ladies chicken puts it BACK on the table with the rest of the chicken where she cuts chicken up and gave it to a drive thru customer. I was floored! I was wondering to myself if thats something they do often.
I mean I don't want chicken that's returned by a customer. No matter the reason. I watched her to see what she was gonna do with it once she didn't immediately toss it in the trash.
Not sure if I wanna go back to this location. Let alone refer anyone else here. Nobody deserves poor service and 2nd hand chicken.
She was chopping the meat so hard with the cleaver it was totally obvious she was irritated with that nice elderly customer that just wanted a well done piece of chicken. It...
Read moreI love the Chicken Fajita Layered Salad. With no corn or tortilla strips, it's exactly what I want in a salad. I don't want to eat corn or corn chips or tortillas for health reasons, and that salad is perfect for me. I have it once a week at the location in Gilbert, and it's perfect every time.
Unfortunately, I've yet to receive this salad from the new 43rd & Cactus location, although I've ordered it four times. The first few times, I chalked it up to the brand-new location, working out the kinks. On my last visit, I received a salad which had rice and was served in a taco shell, which is not at all what I ordered, nor is it What I want to eat. My dog was pretty happy that night.
Tonight, to be on the safe side, I went inside to order, and compared the order with my receipt. Unfortunately, as I finished my meal at home, I realized the tortilla strips at the bottom meant I received the California layered salad instead of what I had ordered.
It seems this is just a poorly managed location.
Sigh. I'll just be glad I can get what I want at the Gilbert location. That location gets it...
