Honestly immensely disappointed after coming here due to the recommendations. It's very dark, moody restaurant that has homely vibes. It was my birthday dinner and we got the wellington and filet + lobster combo. Both steaks were medium. The wellington was cooked correctly and pretty good. The sauce was different but not in a bad way. It was my first time trying it, and I'd say it's worth trying. The potato on the side is very filling and their salad bar was good as well. The soup was a chicken tortilla soup and fine. The big problems came from the filet and lobster combo. The lobster was undercooked, the steak was overcooked, and the server did not care at all. Not sure if Maria is a part owner, but she could not care any less. She 'took off' the steak which turned out to be a 5 dollar discount. For dishes in the 50 to 70 dollar range, I expected a lot better. I was expecting the steak to be refired or something. She insisted the lobster was cooked and I still insisted it to be put on the grill more. It definitely was undercooked and the steak was overcooked. The reason I ate most of it was when it was clear they would not do anything about it, and I was still hungry. I actually had a different lobster piece I already had again because she insisted it was cooked, and I spat it out. It's so slimy and chewy. It was very ??? The steak was done so thoroughly it was one of the worst filet mignon I've had. I've had better at an ayce place than this. Although one of the two dishes was good, the service was terrible, and I honestly should've just gone to a different restaurant for this price (and I will). No tip for such an atrocious service. Ruined my birthday dinner by not knowing how to cook meat. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The person who took my check was very nice though and tried to help. Kudos to that guy for actually caring.

When I arrived, I was greeted promptly by a very friendly woman and shown to my table. Some reviews say the atmosphere is too dark and dreary. Personally, I liked the atmosphere – reminiscent of the steakhouses of old. The server quickly brought me a water and took my order. I came specifically for the prime rib. When it came to ordering my side, the math didn’t math. The sides that are included, on the a la carte menu, are $3.95. I wanted the twice baked potato, which was listed at $5.95. So, I figured I would have to pay a $2 upcharge, right? Makes sense? Nope – it’s a $3 upcharge. HUH? Not wanting to argue, I ordered that. I had a choice of soup or salad bar. At a steakhouse, I expect a nice hearty soup, such as baked potato, some sort of chowder or a bisque. Nope – tomato rice?!?!? The soup arrived rather quickly and it was piping hot. It was good. Not great, but certainly not bad. Then, my meal arrived. The prime rib was cooked EXACTLY the way I asked and was absolutely delicious. Some reviews say the prime rib is bland. They are apparently used to prime rib with a heavily seasoned rub. IMHO – Prime rib needs nothing more than salt and pepper. I enjoyed the prime rib immensely. The potato, on the other hand, was terrible. First of all, it was stone cold in the center. Second, it was loaded with raw green onions. Now, I’m of the camp that baked potatoes should be served with chives, not green onions. Restaurants use the latter because they are cheaper. But chives are more delicate and compliment, rather than overpower, the potato. Luckily, the server took the $3 extra charge off the bill as the potato was inedible. In the future, I will DEFINITELY go back for the Prime Rib. But, I will hope for a better soup option and just go with a regular baked potato.

We had been in here once before about a month ago. My husband loves liver and onions and it was recommended by Google for that. We went for lunch and while he did enjoy the liver, the ambiance and service were barely adequate. The outside of the place is really run down. When you walk in it's really dark and the bar seems to be the main attraction. He was in the mood for liver and onions again and we were actually going to go to a different restaurant down the road that is also recommended for the liver and onions but when I called they weren't serving it for lunch that day. So we went back to Feeneys. We were pretty much ignored when we walked in. When we were seated we were brought water and then we asked for drinks from the bar. I asked for a gin and tonic with 2 limes. When it came, 1 lime. Ok no big deal. We decide on our orders and wait for her to return . That took a while. When she did return she asked if we needed anything else. We were confused. She asked if we wanted dessert. She didn't even remember that she had not even taken our order yet! We ordered. Someone else brought our food. I asked for malted vinegar for my fish and chips. Then I waited some more. Husband finally went and asked for it. A third person came and cleared plates and got our check because the first girl never came back. I must say that when I saw that that quite a few people have left good reviews, I am flabbergasted. The place is really dingy and run down. The food is just ok and the service both times was HORRIBLE! In fact, it was the first time EVER in our 40 years together that my husband and I did not leave a tip. We will not be back. Save your money and Don't bother with this place. It's old and run down and it's obvious that they don't care.

There are a few tables by the door that people, including staff, sit and smoke, there were 9 smokers to cut through before we entered the building. There was no one to seat us, so I asked the bartender if we seat ourselves, a friendly young person appeared, showed us to our table and immediately brought us water. After a very ample of time we got up and found someone to take our order, starting with drinks, we ordered wine. For our meal, we started with the saginaki ($18.95), it was served table side in a CERAMIC dish with a side of pita triangles. The cheese layer was just a very, very, thin smear of cheese, not at all the traditional block. Trying to eat it was impossible because the outer layer was so tough we couldn't even cut through it with a steak knife, so we just ate out of the middle. It was truly the most disappointing saginaki that we have ever eaten, again, it was just a thin smear of dried out cheese on a ceramic dish. My guest ordered the pasta Mykonos ($22.95), it was served hot and plentiful with small bits of tomato throughout, the garlic butter sauce was just the right amount, however, it a full handful of feta cheese it overtook and overpowered what would have been a very tasty dish. I ordered the California burger EXTRA WELL DONE ($18.95) The older waitress raised her eyebrows and said, "Well done, are you sure you want it well done?". I said "yes, EXTRA well done.". Our orders came out together, which was nice. My fries were plentiful and the avocado on the burger was also plentiful, not just one or two small slices. The presentation was very nice. I immediately cut into mine and it was still bloody, there was blood on the bun, not even close to well done, let alone extra well done! I waited for someone to come back to the table. No one came, I told my partner to go ahead and eat so his didn't get cold. I got up to find someone to tell them about my burger, I found them in the back talking. She was surprised that the burger was not to my liking. She took it back to make a new one. It took very long (of course), and my partner had finished eating by that time. We sat longer and my partner got up to find someone to refill our drinks. We took the liberty to fill our own water as he found a tray with pitchers of ice water on it. Our wine was never refilled. My burger finally came, but it still was not extra well done, so I took it off of the bloody bun and ate around the edges where it was done. When the older waitress came back I had already finished picking though the burger and eating the avocado and cheese off of the top, and she didn't ask how it was, or if there was something else she could bring. It was quite obvious it was again, not to my liking. My partner sat and watched me eat as I had watched him eat. The bill came and we paid table-side. Our bill was $79.87 but the tip selections were; 20%, 30%, and 50%. YES, FIFTY PERCET! We paid our bill with a 20% tip, although definitely not worth even a 20% tip. The food=horrible and the service=horrible. I've eaten here several times, but usually get the salad bar and soup of the day, but the salad bar is now quite smaller than it used to be for $16.95 . We definitely will not be back and would no...

I used to live by this gem years ago always wanted to find out what kinda place it was ? Fast forward 19 years and BOY HOWDY......What was I missing ....ALOT......this place has my loyalty forever.....If I was going to have a special place in my heart for all my greatest memories wedding rehearsal baby shower romantic dinner family get-togethers or just for a REAL MEAL. Any day of the week This is it . .... My husband and I went there for the very first time here recently .we were acknowledged right away with a great smile and felt like we were in the right place. The lady that greeted us wasn't our waitress but let us chose where we felt most comfortable. This was awesome due to the fact that there was techno dance style music playing. I had no problem with it . It was late in the evening and because it's a Bar and Grill 😁 .There will be music going on from the jukebox anywho the smiley lady got our drinks and I ordered from the bar cucumber vodka with lime yummmy ..then this beautiful classy lady I m thinking owner not sure if it was but from the way she carried herself and the way she treated us she must have been the owner or it could have been the... sign on the wall next to the table im thinking it was . She took our order let us go get our salad which was a salad bar that was decoupage pictures of guest throughout the years HELLO PEOPLE this is AWESOME...... AWESOME AWESOME....then Pewter chilled plates ...cottage cheese Mac salad beets cheese crouons and fresh Ground Pepper cracked in a antique pepper grinder .... Hello .....From there we sat back down with our salads and we're greeted by a Bread basket .... We enjoyed and discussed our excitement for the establishment in a room that had a hand painted full wall mural in fact each room has one . I wish I knew the history about those wall murals ....(believe me there is a story ) this place screams the stories ....I love it.... Our main course arrived and just as we anticipated it was freaking A+ all the way.....I had salmon my husband top sirlon it was incredible though out every bite.... I cannot believe how much I love this place I feel physically ill knowing that I've missed out on all the years of this place.....I recommend this place over all the places I've ever had a real good meal at.......
