Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Phoenix

Got to this location at 11:20pm and it was closed even though the hours posted on every door for the dining room is Midnight and drive through is 2:00am, and now it's raining. So I call them a few times after ringing off the hook once, and an employee picking it up just to hang up the phone as I am watching them ignore me from 8 feet away at the door... so finally "Romeo" answers and I ask him if there is a particular reason they are closed? He rambles a bit and asks if I want to order something and I explained I would like to order something but I'm not in a car which he didn't understand and stated "What's a car have to do with anything?" so I further explained that I could not walk through the drive through. Now drenched in rain he says "Okay, I'll let you in." and hangs up the phone. He lets me in and I walk to the counter and he says that the manager told him to ""Close at 11:30pm because they Don't get packed"" and I try to explain that I'd gotten there by bus and have to catch another bus as I always do and it is odd that anyplace especially a corporation with clearly posted hours closing early is odd but didn't get a sentence out before Romeo walks behind the counter and past the counter to go to the drive through completely ignoring me and I wait several more minutes to order, after being ignored again as I tried to explain I asked for this managers name and was told "Carlo" was his name, I Don't know who "Samantha" is or where she was, but that is what me receipt says for my cashiers name. Later I got my to go order and left. So this location is bad. The revamped one on Broadway & Rural is awesome though super clean and nice inside, no fly's like at this location, staff is great, very friendly and hygienically sound, smiling faces on both the staff and the customers, and you get what you ordered correctly and fast, also they are open when their store hour sign as well as store hours posted on their pages online and yelp and hundreds of other sites say they are open and not just open and closed whenever they...

normally don't write reviews but I this time I felt like I had too!! I work next to this Jack in the Box and normally when you go thru the drive thru, right as you are saying what you want to order, they are cutting you off and trying to upsell you on something! It gets really aggravating when you are picking up food for a number of people you work with or if you need something special for your sandwich due to allergies because you get cut off before you can finish. It kinda makes you wanna just yell "SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO WHAT I'M SAYING FOR A MINUTE!!!!" Well tonight (2/6/16), Victor was working the drive thru and he waited till I was finished ordering before trying to upsell me on anything. He was super polite and he spoke good English! No offense to anyone who speaks broken English, but come on...who's idea was it that these people should work/run all the Jack in the Box drive thru's in the United States??!!! Everyone who has ever eaten at a Jack in the Box has heard these words before..."Yumbo Yack"! But anyways, tonight even the person working the grill was on their $h!t because they realized that someone messed up and Victor was about to hand me the wrong order. So basically I'm hoping a manager at this Jack in the Box is going to read this and realize that Victor needs a raise and he should be the only person working the drive thru headset! The ONLY person, that includes the manager lady who now works mornings! She's the worst one because she cuts you off before you even finish saying what you want and tries to upsell you on something else, but you don't know what she's trying to sell because her English is so bad that it sounds like she has the headset...

Holy cow, this location gives a whole new meaning to the term "fast food." I usually only go here for breakfast on my way to work, and I am never in the drive thru for more than like 3 minutes. This morning I put my order in, pulled up behind another car waiting at the window, that car was gone within a minute. Once I got up to the window, the lady took my card, gave it back, then almost immediately after handed me my food. It was like a 30 second process. AND my food wasn't even sloppily throw together! I had a breakfast sandwich, and you know how sometimes at fast food places that are trying to go too fast, the cheese will be like hanging half off the bread, and theres only sauce on the left side of the bun or some weird stuff that just makes it off balance. Not the case here. Wonderful, neat food. Wonderful, fast service. The lady was a little stone faced, but that can be expected when you're super focused. Will definitely be coming back...
