The Original La Canasta Burrito Shoppe — Restaurant in Phoenix

I told the guy at the window it was my first time there and I always wanted to stop by, and is there anything he recommends. .... With no personality and a monotone voice he said everything is good.(and that was it) .... After an awkward pause I ordered a carne asada burrito. .... I got the burrito and I could tell by the weight it wasn't worth the $8 I paid. .... I bit into the burrito and it was cold. .... The burrito wasn't prepared the way a carne asada burrito should be. (In other words it was not a carne asada burrito) .... The salsa was nothing more than tomato juice with diced onions. .... The eating area was Dusty and rundown. .... At the time it was hot and there was a broken swamp cooler on the corner that nobody seems to care about repairing because it clearly had been broken for months. .... You would think that after being made aware that it was my first time they would have done their best to hook a new customer...... nope! ..... This incident happened a couple of months ago. I left an identical review. I check it today to see if there was a response in the form of an apology or a stupid excuse an interesting Lee enough my 1 star review is gone. ..... I am truly amazed that the burrito shop is as packed as it always is. ..... Needless to say I don't ever plan on going back there and I do my best to warn friends and family about this horrible...

The food is tasty and good but a little bit pricey they have another restaurant I don't think the prices are the same this one's a little bit higher than others but it really has horrible customer service I give it three stars because the food is actually pretty good but the service makes you not want to come back you're not very friendly the cash register lady she's very rude I asked for extra hot sauce she wouldn't give it to me I ordered $50 worth of food and you can't give me extra hot sauce I've been coming here once or twice a week and then someone else gives me extra hot sauce and she doesn't care about it and this woman seems to care about it and then they messed up my order I ordered extra potatoes and some burritos I come here to buy burritos for my company I would hope the owner will read this because you know I'm a company man myself I buy breakfast burritos for my employees but I'm not getting the good quality service here cuz I spend good money I want good quality service and it's plus the prices that you put on these burritos I shouldn't be small should be a good portion and she give me some good service at the top of that I shouldn't complain about...

I came here this afternoon with my landlord and husband. All three of us got the #6 enchilada combo meal. We were given a free serving of chips and salsa and I was honestly blown away by these chips and salsa. The tortilla chips were handmade, and the salsa was the best I've ever had. There were only two people working in the restaurant while we were there, a man and a lovely woman. Our food was brought to us and it was very clear that a lot of time and consideration went into making our meal, and it was just the right amount of food! Living in Phoenix, obviously I've had Mexican food before, but this was hands down the best I've had so far, and I doubt that I'll find any better! If you ever get a chance to come here, do it! You will not regret it! A note to the owners: have you guys thought about selling your salsa? Just a thought. Because I would travel around the...
