Service was great! Lady in the front didn’t pressure us to order but instead gave us a menu to browse and was super friendly. She honored the coupon on the menus, too! Food only took about 15 mins to be ready. There are chairs for you to wait. Takeout only!! My husband and I ordered combos and crab wontons. The combos come with your choice of 2 entrees, egg drop soup, spring roll, AND fried rice. 1 combo is more than enough for 1 person and honestly, I only ate about half. From our entrees, we HIGHLY recommend the teriyaki chicken and broccoli chicken. We also had the orange chicken and sesame chicken which were good, but wouldn’t recommend unless you really want that. Fried was really good! Soup looked plain but it was surprisingly very well seasoned. Spring rolls were okay and crab wontons were super sweet. Chili oil wasn’t spicy at all. Wish they had a spicy sauce on the side. They only have canned sodas to drink, so we had to drive elsewhere to get water. Food overall was fresh. Overall would rate 7.5/10!!

This is my first time ordering from the "new" Mr. WONG and it was delicious. I got the egg rolls, crab puff, wor wonton soup and beef chow fun. Yes, the egg rolls are a little smaller than normal, but they were very good. The crab puffs were larger then most places, and the soup had a lot of chicken, beef, and veggies, (also very good). The standout dish was the beef chow fun. Oh my tastebuds! This was, by far, the best chow fun I have EVER had! It smelled amazing and tasted just as good. Do your self a favor and order this!

I knew from the pictures I was not gonna regret this. Soon as I got my order I went into the car had to try it, what I didn’t know is that it came with my favorite soup(egg drop soup) oh em gee there is nothing I could find wrong. The orange chicken amazing, chicken and broccoli perfect. Most of all the egg roll took me back to my child hood. I can’t wait to go back and order everything once at least.

After my past experience, I would give this place 0 stars.

I ordered the pork Lo Mein along with a few other items later at night. I called ahead of time to ask if they had time to make my order- they said yes. Great. I proceed to order and she tells me to hurry and get there before close- I got ready in the 10 minutes she said it would take and left. We had no issues until we went to eat our food. The pork lo mein wasn't hot enough to eat. It wasn't ice cold but it felt like when you put leftovers in the microwave and only the top gets hot. For obvious reasons, I don't proceed to eat the food, I throw it away and head to In'N'Out. I figured since it was after they closed, there was no point in trying to call and get a replacement or refund- I'll just call the next day.

Upon calling, I explain the situation very calmly and with great understanding. I work in the food industry so food safety and customer service are 2 VERY huge aspects of running a restaurant. This particular restaurant doesn't seem to care for either. I was told "I don't think so" "Its not my fault" "How can I trust you" "Bring back the food so I know you didn't eat it" "We don't offer refunds" "There's no one else that can speak with you" My question is, why would you ask a customer to bring back old food. I understand some people cheat the system but I have never heard a restaurant worker so defensive about something that could've been an accident. I try my hardest to be patient and explain to her I'm not angry or appalled, I just wanted the food I paid money for. At this point she hangs up on me because the conversation isn't going her way. I call back. I tried my best to ask for another person to talk to so I can explain my situation and I was basically told she was the only one that works there. I gave up at that point. It was convenience that brought me here but it was the lack of food safety practice and respect that will keep me away.

0/10 would...

Yes my friends... the intrepid search for good Chinese food in Phoenix, AZ continues. Tonight's saga: Mr. Wong, 19th Ave. First time ordering from Mr. Wong under its new identity as "New Mr. Wong" ("new chef, new menu, new style," boasts the mailer). It was delivery - I decided to chance it and respond to a promotional brochure delivered some time in mid-January, 2019). Outcome? Disappointing.

The Vegetable Chow Fun (not the real chow fun made with big wide 3" wide, flat noodles like you get in New York / San Francisco - this chow fun is made with 1/2" flat noodles) had almost zero flavor. :-( Same problem with the Mongolian Chicken, which I ordered "extra, extra hot." It had neither heat, nor flavor... and certainly, nothing "extra" (except perhaps the quantity?). It was essentially just a gigantic tinfoil container of flavorless chicken and onions. Crazy. Doesn't the new chef taste the dishes he churns out? Lastly, I got the pot stickers - not at all crispy (which is how I like them), but the flavor was passable and they came with a HUGE vat of dipping sauce (which primarily consisted of soy sauce). I dumped that salt-fest of a sauce on the other two dishes and then added some Sriracha I had on hand to make things edible. Honorable mention: the portions are extremely generous, if you don't mind what is perhaps the blandest Chinese food in the area (and that's really saying something!). Sad to say, would not order again. On to the next adventure. Good Chinese, I know you're out there...

Wish I could give this place zero stars, however it doesn't allow me to. The food was decent at best, but the true reason I am writing this review was based on the service and the fact that my friends card was swiped several times throughout the night, where they delivered food, returned several times within two hours claiming the card did not go through. We ordered around 9:10 pm and it took nearly an hour to deliver our food! They finally arrived at around 10:05 and swiped the card the first time and then left. We began eating and started a movie and then they returned as the movie was ending at around 11:15 pm claiming the card did not go through. They swiped the card again and then proceeded to leave. 20 mins later he returned to swipe the card again and again claimed it didn't go through. We then gave them another card and it was swiped and it went through. When we checked the bank account we were charged FOUR times on two cards. We were livid and could fathom the idea that these guys do this and failed to call and say they will be crediting us for the inconvenience. Never again ordering from this place. If you want to have a stressful night, with a show, and idiots delivering food then order from here. Otherwise, I would take my...
