Taco Mich & Bar #3 — Restaurant in Phoenix

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE COOK IS DISGUSTING. My Fiance & I ordered 2 orders or California burrito with rice & beans the # 21 combo. I specifically asked the registrar if the burrito came with cheese and potatoes, she said yes. Once we retrieved our order , we went home. ( 25 minute drive ) . As soon as we noticed that that both burritos had neither potatoes or cheese we called them and her exact words were “ well the cook needs to see if she really messed up so you need to come back and bring them and we will fix it” .. As soon as we arrive the cook was already upfront exchanging words with registrar, I showed her the two burritos and she grabbed them instantly and placed her entire hand in the burrito repeating “ there’s cheese, there’s cheese “. I said “ there is no cheese and no potatoes “, then the registrar spoke up and said “ yes there is no potatoes but there is cheese “ . WHAT IS THE POINT OF ARGUING WITH ME ABOUT HAVING CHEESE IF MY ORDER IS STILL WRONG WITHOUT POTATOES!!. So then, my fiancé asked “ Is there anything you can do for us since we had to drive all the way home and drive all the way back?” The registrar said “ yes we are remaking your food “. We happened to then notice that the cook had no gloves while repairing our food and was also wearing a BAND AID!! At this point we no longer wanted the food and I asked if her manager was available or If she had any contact information to get intouch with her. Her response was “ it’s 2am of course not “ and “I do not have her number “ after going back and fourth for several minutes because she claimed there’s is a no refund policy , she finally was able to SOMEHOW get in touch with her manager . She goes to the back , speaks Spanish for several minutes before returning to the front to say “ I can give you a refund but I will not remake your food “. Which was completely fine because we no longer wanted the food in the first place. If I could rate this place a 0 I would . I have never experienced such rude and disgusting customer service in my life and it is so sad how people that work with others everyday can have such a sour attitude. I will not return and I would not recommend this place...

So I left my 1st review on this Taco Mich 2 years agoand it was 5 stars but today it drops sadly! I go there almost everyday for me or my husband. They have really good food and it's very affordable. My only complaint, huge complaint, is a girl that works there as a cashier. She says her name is melody but I'm not sure that's true because the cashiers ticket says Cashier:EU anyhow she's very rude! I called today to try to place a take out order from my car outside to reduce contact due to covid. The cashier put me on hold but never picked back up. So I came inside (still on hold) stood in line (only 1 customer other than me in the whole building)and I watched her walk over, pick up the phone, look at it and hang up on me while I was watching her! She's very disrespectful and rude. THIS IS NOT THE 1ST TIME EITHER about 6 months ago she shorted me $10 change on my Order and then claimed that she didn't. She told me she wouldnt know till shift change and I had to wait. She called me after shift change and said she didnt find my money. Well because I go there all the time the next cashier who knows me found my money it was some where else I guess. Idk but they should bring back the other girl that was there or the girl Tiffany because this new one is loosing...

I just wanted a normal Carne asada burrito combo. You know. Like beans, rice, on the side and a Carne aside burrito with guacamole. And a fountain drink. I paid 7.33 originally. But the man's didn't hand me the drink. So I waited for the other person to order and I asked "sir may I get my drink " he tells me the combo didn't come with a drink so I said ok I guess. How much for a drink then?. He said $4.+ taxes . I pay so now my total is 12$ now I'm thinking ok it's a bit pricey here but maybe the food will be good. But when I got my burrito it was the size of my fist. Barely any meat or cilantro. And absolutely no guacamole. Also this is just a burrito. no sides of rice or beans like I specifically had asked for. So I went back up and asked for some guacamole. The man charged me 3$ for that as well for a little bit of of guacamole. I go to put it in my burrito and I got Flys 🪰 all around me. The meat was dry and had no flavor. The place was a mess. And it's way over priced. I'll stick with alibertos or filabertos from now on. Next day I have food poisoning. Will never be back. Also he was a young man who spoke english pretty well so there was no language barrier. He just wanted...
