Maverick Saloon — Restaurant in Phoenix

A biker friend of mine took me here on Sunday for there $ 3.00 breakfast witch they have every Saturday and Sunday till 10 am this is what I got 2 eggs over easy, sausages, becon, hash browns & a new.item they just added biscuits and Gravy I expected to pay more because I wanted both becon and sausage and both hash browns and biscuits and Gravy and I would of gladly payed double but to my amazement it was still only $3.00 and I'm not saying that all that is 3.00 I.m just saying It was for me that day and my buddy and to wash it all down a pint of cold bud and you wouldn't believe how well that cold bud went with breakfast at 9:30am so well!!!!! and just for the record I do not condone Drinking and driving or riding but just 1 with a.large breakfast and a hr and a.half time frame now thats the breakfast of champions & and with my kinda crowd and you don't need to be a biker to enjoy a great breakfast hats off to the chef for quality food and very fast service I will definitely be back again .and just a side note how often do you see a Harley Davidson biker and a 200mph cafe racer just cruzing side by side on a Sunday morning??? Very rare you don't really see it to often and my friend and I don't like to be politically correct were both black sheep's and odd balls that's why we ride together he's got the Harley and it's fast ive got the cafe racer and it's freaking scary fast but when it comes down to it we both have one thing in common we love AMERICA,BIKES,BREAKFAST, COLD BEER,AND CAN'T FORGET THE LADIES and we mean all of you expecially the CRAZY ONES LOL you will know us when you see us bet that and for all of you getting ready to chime off on my cafe racer she's been American over 70+ yrs now starting the day we droped the big one PEACE OUT PEOPLE 2019 who would of thought $ 3.00 breakfast yes the cold...

Overall: Awesome dive bar! Excellent food! Cheap alcohol, food, and pool! YOU CAN SMOKE INSIDE!

Pros: -YOU CAN SMOKE INSIDE! -The jukebox has an excellent selection -2 Pool tables ($.50 a game), 1 Pinball machine, 1 Arcade Machine (Deer Hunting) -EXCELLENT food at a CHEAP price (Junior is the head cook and he makes damn good food) -BEST CHICKEN WINGS IN PHOENIX!!! -Live music on weekends -TVs show sporting events (No PPV events) -Clean facilities -Cigarettes can be purchased at the bar, snack Vending Machine -1 ATM and cash back option available at the bar.

Cons: -You will probably leave smelling like cigarette smoke -The owner and most regular patrons prefer Rock and Country so Heavy Metal and Pop/Hip-Hop/Rap may have volume turned down a little, or patrons may aggressively "play next" over your selections if you play too many in a row (douches) -Only 2 pool tables, and no Darts -Cash Only for food, and you pay the cook in a separate transaction from the bar -No beer from taps during live music, only bottles -No Change machine, Bartenders will give quarters -Slightly cramped, especially when busy -Bartender(s) are sometimes inattentive, or extremely busy and the wait time for help can vary from none to (what feels like)10 minutes, but probably...

I did NOT expect them to have such incredible burgers on their limited menu. Amazing flavor for a great price. Definitely recommend their jalapeno popper burger, the char and smokiness on that patty made me feel like I was at a family cookout.

Some of the best prices on beer I've ever seen at a bar or any establishment. I'm never paying $8+ for a Modelo again when I got this joint to go to!

Gotta mention "D" the very cool waiter who shook my hand and asked for my name when he saw I was new there. Made me feel welcome and is one of the reasons I'll be going back often. Even the other customers there helped me to get acquainted with how they run things.

The waitresses at the bar kept the beers coming and didn't make me feel like they forgot about me despite how busy they were.

Great atmosphere as well with dim, moody lighting and more bras on the ceiling than an Usher concert. Good music, good people, and good food & drink is all I can ask for at places like this and that's exactly what I got.

If you don't mind people smoking cigarettes, having some beer, and just enjoying existence, definitely stop by here and enjoy...
