Easily one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It was something you'd see Ramsay complaining about in KN. The lady greeter was friendly enough. And that was the end of the good experience.
Waited over 45 minutes after placing our orders in a place that only had 4 or 5 tables occupied.
Irish Bennedict: This was the worst. Sauce split and sour, looked like a curdled oily mess. 'Poached" eggs were rock hard and nasty. Muffin was soggy and gross. The 'famous' hashbrowns were chewy and cold.
Philly Cheese Steak: I don't know what the hell was done to the meat, but it looked straight up like canned food. Dry dry dry slices of 'beef' with barely cooked green peppers, put between two stale tasting slices of white bread. It was the saddest, soggiest thing I've ever seen. And to top it off, got cold dry hashbrowns instead of fries.
'Monte Cristo" sandwich: Do yourself and your friends a favor and stay the hell away from this abomination. DRY 'Texas Toast' (just tasted like thick cut stale white bread).
Then slap each slice with mayo , which then goes on 1 thin slice each of some dried out ham and turkey that was thrown on the griddle with some barely warmed cheese. Pile it all together and call that a Monte Cristo. It was so damn dry, tasteless and disgusting. Just a mouthful of stale bread.
And to really just seal the deal, long hair in the greasy onion rings.
I have never in my life thrown an entire sandwich in the trash. But that is exactly what I HAD TO do when I got him home and tried it (took it to go). Gross.
And for all of that for the low cost of $60.00.
They say they were short-staffed in the kitchen to explain the excessively long wait. No, it wasn't busy. It is okay to wait if the food received was worth waiting for by how delicious it was. This was the exact opposite and just adding insult to injury. Making customers wait almost an hour for mediocre is a classic receipe to business failure.
This has all the hints of a place where ownership is giving up Something you see in Kitchen Nightmares where everyone looks burnt out and souless. Business is sliding, standards and morale dropping which causes more loss of customers. That is the vibe I had received.
I will never be back and would never recommend anyone going in its...
Read moreI do not recommend this restaurant, the service is horrible and the food is very bland and the portions are too small for the price they're charging, they have no AC, it feels like a sauna in there, all the ingredients they use (bread, eggs, bacon, and everything else is bought from the store across the street Smart and Final). Honestly, you're better off cooking at home than wasting your gas, time, and money coming to this horrible establishment where both owner and manager are very rude and evil to employees and customers alike.
This is my experience at this dinner, the bald guy is very rude and mean to customers and employees alike, he thinks he's funny, but he's not. He takes too long to take your order and when he brings it and if you need something else he'll give you an attitude. I saw both managers telling one of the employees (a young guy) to take drinks to another table when he wasn't even finished cleaning 2 tables in the meantime a young lady (another employee) she freshly kept walking around doing nothing. I really felt bad for that guy, he looked stressed out, and when he got a chance he came by our table with a big smile and kindly asked us if we needed a refill.
Then we saw a young family, they sat down close to us and they had a cute baby with them, after they left the bald guy made the most horrific and inhumane comment a person can make, I would never say something like this to anyone not even as a joke. After the couple left with their baby there were little pieces of bread and crumbs all over the table and the floor, then the bald guy said to other customers while looking at the dirty table "young parents, they shouldn't have kids, they should get neutered." When I heard that I couldn't believe it, but then again we all heard it. This is the reason why we're not coming back, I feel bad for the customers, but mostly the employees that have to deal with that monster of a "person", the bald...
Read moreMy husband introduced me to this place years ago & we always had a great experience up until now. We walked in around 9am during the weekend & noticed it was becoming busy but there were still a handful of open tables. We were going to be joined by my husband’s mom & fiancé for breakfast so we asked for a table of 4 even though it was just us two at that moment. The shorter male server told us we had to wait outside until all 4 were there & turned away back to bussing. I was a little confused because I still saw a couple of tables open that could easily seat 4. My husband tried to get the same server’s attention but couldn’t so he then went to the register & asked the taller male server if we could be seated anyway because I’m uncomfortably over 8 months pregnant. They said yes & let us take one of the available tables. I could sense this was an annoyance to the staff but hoped it wouldn’t ruin the rest of breakfast. The food was good but the service just wasn’t great after the seating interaction. We were rushed through & began to feel uncomfortable for it. We even had the older woman server pick up a small plate of toast my mother in law was still eating & ask her if she was done which we thought was very rude. It would have been a little understandable if the place was slammed but it seemed the same as when we walked in with maybe two more parties after us. It just seemed like the staff was more concerned with getting people in & out as quickly as possible to avoid a rush. Including making them wait outside until everyone in the party was there even though the seating was available. Sad to say we won’t be coming...
