Oh man this place is fantastic. The portions are huge and so is the flavor. I ordered the Southside sandwich without onions and my fiance ordered a Sonoran dog, fried pickles, and Hissy Fit fries. The Southside initially has a strong bologna taste then you are hit with the salami that is stacked underneath. I realized that the bologna taste was from the capicola which I am appropriately not a fan of. Not to say that there was anything wrong with the meat, I just never had it before and it doesn’t work for my palate. There was a nice light Italian dressing which really carried the sandwich despite the fact that I’m not big on the main meat. The Sonoran dog was smoky with beans that had a slight spice. It was certainly loaded with a lot of ingredients which gave it a sweet undertone that hits the back of your taste buds. The fried pickles (ohmylawdd) were so good. They were perfectly crispy and had a buttery flavor that gave way to a salty finish. Absolutely perfect. The ranch used for dipping them in just instantly brought my brain to wings. I’m really not sure how to describe it besides tangy and just wings. Now the Hissy Fit fries were middle of the road for me. The fries themselves initially have no flavor and are slightly soggy, but as it settles in your mouth you get hit with a chili powder aftertaste. The sausage on top is very spicy and flavorful, so I guess eating it in combination like you’re supposed to shows its true potential. I didn’t try any of the bacon or brisket, but my fiance had no complaints. Reyna was extremely accommodating and helpful with suggestions. Please go check this place out.

Hidden gem not to be overlooked. STOP and EAT HERE!! We picked this place at random and we totally lucked out. It's tucked in between an alcohol store and a dog treat store, so it is easy to drive on by, but DON'T! Jose, at the order counter, was spot on with the customer service. He had some good recommendations, though pretty much everything on the menu looked mouthwatering. Hubby chose the cowboy - hot sub, and the pizza french fries. I chose the rueben and fried pickles. We decided to share an order of onion rings. Ding Dang! The food was fantastic!! The hoagie roll on the cowboy was on point - crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside - while the BBQ sauce was tangy and didn't drown out the meat. Topped with just enough melty cheese and jalepeno slices to make it interesting. My Reuben was so flavorful. The rye bread was so fresh and the meat was thinly sliced and toasted. Bravo!! The highlight for me though was the order of FRIED PICKLES!! OMG!! The batter was perfect - thin, not overwhelming, and the perfect compliment to the dill sliced pickle chips. I will be going back just for the fried pickles! The onion rings were also fantastically delicious. I wish we could say the pizza fries were all we expected, but they fell short. Unfortunately, with all that delicious meaty marinara sauce on top, not to mention a generous portion of pepperoni and melty cheese, the crunch factor in the french fries just didn't stand a chance. All in all, we really love OuttaBronx and will be making the drive from Gilbert to Phoenix to eat there again! Give them a try. You won't be sorry!!

A sandwich shop with a great theme. The menu is much more unique than the typical deli or sub joint. It's easy to miss from the outside and tiny on the inside, only about a half dozen tables for dining. Two very hard workers were running the place at peak lunch hour, but that didn't slow them down. Great service. We ordered some wings and rings and some sandwiches. The wings were perfect; nice and crispy without being overcooked. The Onion Rings were also great. The Southside Sub was their Italian classic, which was okay. Good bread and fresh meats and cheese. It was missing an oil and vinegar drench and Italian spices, which I prefer and expected from a NY-themed place. Same goes for their Reuben Sandwhich, it was a good sandwich, and it was served on wonderful fresh thick cut marbled rye - that was toasted. With Bronx in the name, I was expecting it to be a grilled sandwich, which how most NY delis prepare them. Not a big deal, still a good sandwich. I'm looking forward to going back and trying some of their French fry creations.

I often don’t do google ratings, however, this place deserves this. Small business owned by an enthusiastic young guy that knows his way around a huge variety and style of foods.

The whole place is a vibe, from the quaint chill seating to the busy and skilled cooks, to the man behind the counter running the place, multitasking and making sure you get something you’ll enjoy.

The FOOD! đŸ€€ man, I haven’t had something like this since I was in NYC. My buddy and I split a Long Island and a chopped cheddar, jalapeño poppers, and pastrami cheese fries. The Long Island was hot, fresh, juicy, filled with so much flavor! The only sauce is mayo and some garlic butter spread they use on the bread but it has so much flavor from the grilled turkey and pastrami to the onions and peppers on top then the melted cheese. The bread was crunchy on the outside, soft and just right on the inside, it had the perfect texture to compliment the whole sandwich. The Chopped cheese, you’d think, beef and cheese, so what?! WRONG! The chopped cheese had juicy meat, crunchy grilled veggies, cheese that was so melty (I wish I had a cheese pull pic) and the flavor was immaculate! The jalapeño poppers were fresh, and didn’t taste like frozen store brand trash. The Pastrami Fries
first off pastrami is a salty meat, fries are usually salty, so you’d think they would be too much together
hell no! They were perfect! Flavorful pastrami on top the crispy fresh fries and the melty cheese with just the right amount of salt and grilled flavor (from the meat). I probably shouldn’t have but I ate everything in the picture below, and I don’t regret it. Huge shout out to yall! I will be back...
