OWL OWL Boba x Chick — Restaurant in Phoenix

I heard about this Taiwanese spot on the west side, Owl Owl Boba x Chick, which has a 4.8 on Google, so I had to check it out. It's a small, cozy place with a fast-food vibe and cute owl decor--seriously, owls everywhere. There are only a few tables, and you order at the counter. I grabbed takeout and got a Citrus Green Tea, Popcorn Chicken, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, and Braised Pork Belly with Rice.

The Citrus Green Tea was super refreshing--I liked that you could taste the green tea. The beef noodle soup was good, with chewy noodles and tender beef, though the broth was a little sweeter than I expected. For $14.99, I kinda wished there were more noodles. The braised pork belly was tasty, and the Popcorn Chicken was decent for the price--probably would've been better fresh at the restaurant.

The cashier was friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it's a cool little spot with solid food. I'd definitely go back to try more...

My wife heard about this place and was excited to try a Taiwanese spot on the west side of town. We ordered the staples of Taiwanese food Beef Noodle soup, Braised Pork Belly rice bowl, and Basil Popcorn chicken. My wife's really liked the beef noodle soup. It reminded her a little bit of Taiwan. The broth was mild info flavor which was perfect and the beef shank was melt in your mouth. Noodle was cooked perfectly aldente. I had the braised pork belly which was really good. It was nice and tender. The popcorn chicken was seasoned perfectly and not overwhelmingly salty. Only thing I would change was to make the chicken a little bit more crunchy. I had the regular jasmine green tea with 100% sweetness and no boba it was the perfect sweetness for me as it wasn't too sweet like American standards. Absolutely love Owl Owl Boba Chick! The food here is consistently delicious — the beef noodles are flavorful and comforting, and the popcorn chicken is crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Their flavored milk teas are also spot on — rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. It’s definitely one of my go-to spots for a satisfying meal and great drinks....
