Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Ordered delivery at 4:55pm. I sat and waited over two hours and never got my order. I checked the app and it said my order was delivered. I was sitting right by the door and nobody ever knocked. I checked my camera on my front door and nobody ever showed up or dropped anything off. I called the store four times and each time it rang for nearly two minutes with no answer before finally telling me the voicemail was full and I couldn't leave a message.

I drove all the way down to the store and the manager, or I assume he was the manager anyway, said sometimes when the driver is in the area it will say the order has been delivered before it actually has been. I told him it had been over two hours and that I tried calling four times, and he said he just got there and they were very busy, but he would have them remake my order. I tried to explain further about how nobody even showed up on camera but he cut me off and seemed to be in a rush to just get me back out the door.

I waited outside and they finally remade my food, and offered me a soda apparently as an apology, but they made no mention of refunding my delivery fee, or the tip I pre-paid the driver who never brought me my food. The manager then said he was sorry and didn't know what happened. I've never had a problem with Papa Johns before, until I ordered from here. The employees seemed overworked and they were extremely disorganized, having to sit and try and figure out who the orders sitting on the shelf belonged to. Never ordering from this...

If I could give them a 0 star I would. My husband and I forgot to add a pizza to our order we called this store several times before someone answered to make sure to inform them we would be adding another order to the first to make sure all the food arrived at once. The First Lady who answered didn't let my husband finish talking before she put him on hold. When she came back on the line he was able to give her his name and while he was still trying to talk she once again put him on hold in the middle of his sentence. The manager finally came on the phone and he explained what had happened she informed us the drink we wanted was unavailable which was fine but when he said that we were going to place the second order and once again before he could finish his sentence the manager hung up the phone. After we placed the second order I called the store 4 times with no answer. This store has horrible customer service and it should not have been so difficult to just confirm that the driver would wait until our second order was done to bring it all in one trip. We understand it was our mistake that we forgot the pizza but we have never had such a horrible customer service experience. We did appreciate that the manager called us back to make sure we placed the second order before the driver left but again should not have had so many non answered calls and the hangups/ holds. We will never order from this...

Ordered BEFORE closing…they canceled my order both attempts. When I called to ask why a FEMALE answered the phone and hung up on me right away as soon as I started talking about my canceled order…called RIGHT BACK and a MALE answered and said sorry we are closed I’m walking out the door right now. Well they are open until 12am. He said no we are closed I’m here all alone, I said no a girl just answered and hung up on me and he told me that’s impossible because he’s there all alone and they are closed. So they close before actual closing time and cancel orders without even calling customers. And hang up on them on the phone multiple times so they don’t have to deal with complaints. Pretty sad I’m a customer who uses them at least once a week. I’ll be calling in the morning to speak to the manager since the “night” manager closes early cancels orders and lies to customers.

Not to mention the food has progressively gotten worse and worse. Pizza shows up late and cold, it looks awful. I’ve had to go there and pick it up because delivery took to long and my pizza is cold from sitting on the shelf for an hour. The place is dirty as hell, never in my life have I seen a food establishment so disgusting…the. GM AND OWNER SHOULD...
