Ray's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Could not be more annoyed. I searched "pizza anthem" two come up. Barrows and this place. I always go to barrows so I thought I would try Ray's (wish I had not) and clied on the link at the top of google. went to the menue and it says pizzas are $12.50 and then $1.50 per topping. Got there and they said the bill was $18.95 I told them it s 12.5 on the website plus toppings and they said no its not, showed them the price and they said sorry its not that price. What a scam. They never game me the total on the phone. the same pizza (better) at barrows is $14.50.

I thought well seeing as this place is the same price i will try it out. They did nothing to try and make the situation right. For a few dollars they annoyed a customer and will lose more.

The pizza was 4 out of 10. thats me being fair, it has nothing to do with the price fiasco. the pizza toppings ended 3 inches from the end of the crust and it was greasy. The crust itself was nice, I will give it that, the crust is the only thing stopping me saying 1 out of 10.

Seriously folks go to barrows you get the same pizza (better in my opinion) for $5 cheaper and you don't have to cross the freeway!

This place is warm and welcoming, makes me feel like I have stepped into my mother's kitchen. Warm bread baking in the oven or pizza pies. The savory sweet sauces that fill the room like freshly dried Sunkissed tomatoes. I see a lot of locals stopping for a long leisurely lunch, it really is a lovely place to enjoy a quite lunch. The weather is getting cooler outside and and its always a great idea to enjoy a home-cooked meal or as close to home as you can get these days!

My favorite desert would defiantly have to be the cannoli's they are such a Gourmand decadent dessert. In every bite you can taste the exceptional work goes into the preparation of the food and deserts here at Ray's.

Today I stopped by to order wings for me and my coworker, She wanted 2 different sauces on the 12 piece chicken wings and also extra crispy, Rays said no Problem we can make that for you! Thank you for making your customers feel special!

I know inflation has gone up so much these days but its always nice to treat your self to something of exceptional quality!

Hey who ever is reading these reviews the owner of rays lets call him T really goes outta his way for his costomers now ima get this outta the way i have not had there food but my buddy down there says its amazing and i know they order from rays alot now im from wisconsin i ordered delivery for a buddy in new river now the service over the phone was great both people were extremely polite so i ordered and paid for the food to be delivered it got sent to the house next door on accident i called and talked to t thinking it hasnt been delivered and we ended up talking over the phone now we ended up talking on his personal food to figure out where the food went cause at the moment we didnt know this dude went outtta his way to drive to the address it was delivered to and make sure this food got tot where it needed this is amazing service and commitment to his customers not to mention this was after rays was already closed this dude his business and his employs are some of the best i have ever ordered threw and i will definitely be stopping in and thanking this guy personally when i visit Arizona for those down there give this man a thank you from me and enjoy a...
