Serafina Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Phoenix

After driving by this place many times in the past year since I moved back to AZ, I was eager to check out Serafina and see what all the hype was about. Needless to say, I’m so happy I finally stopped by! 🥰

I came here yesterday for the first time and was so impressed by the ambiance of this coffee shop. I loved all the eclectic art, plants, decor and all of the bakery items they had on display looked delicious! I ordered a 32 oz iced chai with oatmilk, along with a lox bagel on asiago bread and paid just under $20. Both were amazing! My chai had the perfect amount of spice and flavor and my bagel was densely packed and full of flavor! Not to mention the cup sizes are bigger and more generous portions than what Starbucks offers.

I also appreciate how Serafina provides a calm and relaxed atmosphere and excellent service! After this visit, I have a feeling this will be my new favorite coffee shop - I would much rather support locally than give it to corporate Starbucks. There was three teenage girls working the cashier. My husband was ordering us three drinks and we wanted to buy a mug too. The girl kept acting like she couldn't hear us and saying "huh?" very rude with teenage attitude. I get it, I was a teenage girl once that had a lot of attitude but this is a business. Dad is managing the place walking around and mom is making the coffee. As my husband is still ordering, the three girls scream, I mean SCREAM, out the orders of ours that were ready. As my husband is still ordering LOL. I finally look at them and scold them like a mom telling them he is still ordering! Dad the manager walks around me as sarcastically mocks my laughter bc I'm cracking up at this point! Never seen anything like it lol! Coffee was ok and the tea was better. There were flies everywhere as we sat. I hope the folks selling their things in this coffee shop are aware that the Dad could give two poops if someone just takes their glasses or art work. I was trying to pay for my cups at the cash register and the girls told me to pay through it via online and they have nothing to do with it! No one made sure I bought it. Anyone could just walk out...

I live right by Serafina Coffee but have never come over to explore until yesterday! I always thought I wanted to try it every time I drive by. I finally did! And boy let me tell you, it's way more spacious than I expected. It's adorable inside with different seating areas, local businesses informations, and even some books and board games you can play. They have patio seating too. When walking up front to order there are delicious looking homemade pastries and sorts. I ordered a canolie, which I'll definitely get next time I come in too! It was the perfect consistency and sweetness. I also ordered the iced raspberry white mocha off the seasonal menu. I wanted to try something new and not as basic. It was a hit! The coffee tastes like real espresso, not too milky and then the sweetness from the flavorings. To top it all off it was an amazing price too. We got two large iced lattes, a canolie and overnight oats for only $18. For me, that's a steal since I visit so many coffee shops.
