Moon Valley Grill and Patio — Restaurant in Phoenix

I’m so disappointed in how I was recently treated at Moon Valley Grill on Coral gables. The “order taker” had an extremely rude tone and attitude towards me the second he picked up the phone. I started to order which was larger due to Mother’s Day dinner (keep in mind I could have chose anywhere else to go but I chose your restaurant) during this call the “order taker” keep saying “this is a large order” as he was huffing and puffing and annoyed that he even had to take the order. He mentioned multiple times that it would take longer since it was such a large order to give them at least 30 min to prepare.

With that being said my husband ran an errand before he went to pick up our $93.00 order because they said it would take longer. I then get a phone call from the “order taker” stating that it’s been an hour where were we as he continued to huff and puff and repeated himself over and over with his rude tone. I then stated my husband is on his way that we were giving them more time as it was a big order. And he just kept saying” I SAID 30 MIN NOT AN HOUR” as he kept getting louder and louder.

I have never been more disrespected by a restaurant let alone a restaurant that we frequent and supported during covid . A lot of restaurants and bars are closing, my tip for you would be treat customers with respect if you Want to continue to have ANY customers. I will never give business to this...

We had delivery and I would recommend you eat at the restaurant. My husband’s burger was as yummy as I remembered it but no mayo or mustard of any kind and dressing/condiments + his tatter tots were crunchy & cold. I ordered the French dip same thing no mayo or cream cheese drenched in plastic type white cheese with old tasting red meat. Then the aju sauce was horribly salty if you love salt with your broth and a tasteless, plastic white cheese meat like sandwich more like a a bad rip off a Phily (spelling?) sandwich. My side salad was ok looked more like toppings for nachos less olives and peppers. So I ended up adding some more items we had at home to make it more a kitchen sink salad vs. nacho toppings with blue cheese dressing. I wish I had better feedback. The bar it’s has a great atmosphere with good burgers or steak and so far I haven’t found anything else on the menu...

Don’t order the Flatbreads! I ordered Margarita flatbread described as topped with sliced tomatoes, minced garlic, fresh basil. The pizza came with cheese barely melted and peppers and onions with cherry tomatoes no basil no garlic no sliced tomatoes. Owner made a rude comment about the cooks not being able to read and maybe he should put it in Spanish and chuckled. (I saw no humor in that) He grabbed the pizza and said they would remake it. Second pizza came back same way with no tomatoes and one leaf of basil. They added a special touch of sour cream drizzled on the top. Yuck… waiters were great and apologetic. Don’t go there if you are expecting the Husker atmosphere. All Husker memorabilia removed but 2 signs. Just not the fun atmosphere I loved. Other food was just ok and not great. My husband and I will not return for that reason and...
