Be prepare to defend and protect your private property against the aggression of a chubby old mad guy working as yard driver. I tried to get his name and he refused to give it to me. I asked for his manager and he told me to ask the security guard. I told him I don’t appreciate treating my property the way he did and he said that if he didn’t do any damage to it to “get out of here”. While I was waiting behind other truck to check with security guard so she could brake the seal, this yard driver approached to my door while I was sitting down the drivers seat ready to move after the truck I’m front of me and this yard driver slammed on my door several times out of the nothing. He did it so hard as if he wanted to do some damage to my truck or at least not caring wether or not he would cause a damage to it. He thinks he can treat private property anyway he’d like. I complained about it with a supervisor, but looks like it was a Capstone supervisor. However, If that aggressively violent yard driver behaves that way is because he thinks he can get away with it. Aggressors use violence. Victims of aggression use force. I opted to do a complaint, but again I don’t expect that aggressor will be accountable for his aggressive violent behavior. So be aware if you decide to come here. They gave me a door 5 hours after my appointment and I expect to be her for another 4 or 6 at the door. Not worth the money to come here, because you’ll loose one day of work delivering plus freight out of Phoenix is cheap. If you don’t mind your property and time being mistreated, this is the...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and avoid this place if you can! Yes, check-in and security team are nice. I also do like there is a large parking area and bathrooms provided for you. But, the unloading process is astonishingly slow. Take your showers and grab some food before showing up because you WILL run your entire clock down and then some. My appointment was at 18:00. Thanks to everyone's advice on here, I didn't arrive until 10 minutes prior. I parked in the staging area for 4 hours before I was assigned a door. By this point, it was 22:00. They started unloading at midnight. I only had an hour left on the clock, so I decided to take a sleeper split in order to legally complete my remaining time there. Just be prepared to do the same.
I was finally done unloading at 02:40, so then I got the lumper fee of $510 paid. It looks like most reviewers on here got the restack charge fee of $170, regardless of whether it needed it or not. I think they purposefully scrounge every dollar they can get out of you. No one behind your dock door seems like they really want to actually work. It's honestly just lazy and unprofessional how they do their job here. Or if it's a matter of short staffing, then they need to accept some job offers. I didn't leave the facility until 04:00. For a total of 10 hours of unloading after arriving on time is ridiculous and an insult to truck...
Read moreHave to park your truck in the parking area on the south side of the lot and then check in at the guard shack... I'm used to driving up to the guard shack and securing a dock door. But anyways. This place is WAY crowded then expected. My dock door was R5 and had to exit the property and follow the orange line around (exit the lot) and turn right, (SMALL STREETS BE AWARE) take that street around the building (Right turn and Right turn onto Virginia) drive to the second gate... NOT THE FIRST, that one is an EXIT. Receiving office is near dock door 26 wedged in the corner. Security booth lol is in the middle of the lot once you pull in, let him cut the seal and tell you to back your truck up to your dock door provided from the guard shack up at the front, take your BOL to the receiving office after you have parked at the dock door. Also there is a lumper fee after all of this too -_- by the way to slide your tandems until you get positioned with your dock door. The PARKING LOT IS SUPER SMALL for these sleeper cabs... not my favorite spot to deliver tbh. 9am appointment and they finished at 1:15pm... good luck with the wait time. I had 2 orders in my trailer, 1 order was 4 pallets and the other order was 18 pallets. They take their...
