This was the most horrible hotel Iāve ever been to. I couldnāt even stay one night if the 5 I intended on staying as I was so uncomfortable and felt so unsafe. Iāve never felt so unsafe in my life. I entered the room for no more then 2 minutes after I checked in and after the holes kicked into the bathroom doors and the state of the room, as well as the drug addicts and men watching my every moveā¦I walked straight to the front desk and asked for a refund. The man at the desk was with a security guard who told me to call Expedia and that they would make me stay one night. As well as told me there are bad places in the world and I canāt avoid them.ā I said Iām aware of how the world works but I didnāt have to stay somewhere where I felt so unsafe. I called Expedia, they tried calling the front desk multiple times and got ignored. I had him stay on the line as I went as asked the guy to speak to Expedia, he refused and said he got no calls. I had the Expedia man call again while I stood there and the phone rang, I just stuck my phone in his face and told the man to speak. The front desk said he couldnāt refund the first night and the manager was unavailable. I walked outside with the Expedia man on the line, I told him he clearly was avoiding him and that the āmanagerā he spoke of was a security guard. I told him I wouldnāt be staying there whether I got a refund or not. I was in tears as I felt they were trying to trap me now and something absolutely would happen to me. The Expedia man told me to check out and that he would send my call info to a specialist department and that he also could see they were not working with him but against him and how shady it all was. He stayed on the phone as I checked out. He apologized and gave me a $20 credit. I got a full refund from Expedia. Iām not a scared woman in the world, Iāve stayed alone many times. But Iāve never in my life felt so unsafe or that I was being set up for something terrible to happen. The environment was scandalous and so were the employees. All of it seemed like a trap. I can not believe how hard they worked to keep me there. The rooms had clearly been through some traumatic experiences with incredible violence. I would tell anyone and everyone to avoid this location, especially with children or a single woman. But to avoid it all together. It is not safe and I feel the employees are apart of some kind of scam and are in on set ups. It was the worst and most unsafe and scary place Iāve ever ever been to in All my life. Stay away from this hotel...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe dudes at the front desk are rude dudes... as soon as we walk in we hear a woman yelling at them about housekeeping, go up to the desk after she leaves and immediately hit with "what do you want." OK not super friendly but not that big of a deal. Go to our rooms, my partners and i's room is pretty grimy. Guess thats why that woman was yelling...dust everywhere, shower floor was black, our floor had a fine layer of dirt on it like someone hadn't swept or mopped for weeks. We go over to my friends room to see if her is any better and her bed is completely UNMADE and had obviously been slept in, there was hair all over the bathroom and towels on the floor, we could literally smell the cologne of the person in there last.... She goes down to ask for a new room (nicely btw) and they seriously give her attitude about this! They tried to make it seem like they didn't have open rooms and they were really putting themselves in a position to move her but did anyway. New room they put her in isn't much better but at least the bed is made i guess. We ended up just buying our own cleaning supplies and doing a quick clean just to feel more comfortable in our rooms. Both of our showers were broken, my friends shower-head didn't work at all just the tub nozzle, ours had both of them spraying water at the same time and the tub would fill so you had to shower quickly. Tv's weren't connected to internet but we weren't really in our rooms that often and didn't want to deal with the rude dudes downstairs so we didn't ask for the wifi password but it wouldn't surprise me if they just didn't have wifi at this location. The area its in is kinda sketchy but the ppl don't really bother you i just wouldn't go walking around at night. Our last day housekeeping kept coming to our door before the agreed checkout time...like 4 or 5 times, but considering the state of the 3 rooms we saw i'm not sure if they were trying to clean or if they were just trying to get us out. When we checked out rude dude seemed annoyed with us but said Thanks this time! If you have other options I wouldn't stay here honestly, however it is cheap and right next to...
