JEWELZ BAR & GRILL — Restaurant in Phoenix

Decided to give this place a try since we work close by. There were 3 of us that arrived on a Friday night around 7pm. Banners advertised burgers and since we had a long day a good burger and and drink sounded good. Parking was good and when walking in the place appeared to be clean. There were plenty of tables but it took a second to get greeted or even some direction as to if we needed to seat ourselves so we decided to sit. Menus were handed to us by someone sitting at the bar and after a minute we were welcomed by the bartender/waitress. Appetizers and burgers were ordered from menus with the prices blacked out. Drinks were brought promptly. Appetizers were brought out which looked great and were fresh however no plates or silverware. So I got up to ask for at least napkins. After I grabbed my own napkins from the bar some were brought to us. But still not plates or silverware. Figured once our burgers came we would get some. A couple minutes later burgers came out. Again no silverware and although the burgers looked fresh there were no condiments on them. So had to ask for those. When those were brought out with no silverware. So I got up to ask for a knife which we just shared. Overall I think I would have stayed longer had the minor things just been done. The food was ok something i could have gotten at Whataburger. When the check came I just wanted to leave. For the price I paid for the burger I would just go to chili’s. Better burger better service. I can say at least the bartender was...

Jewelz was fantastic. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We had al pastor tacos and a version of mini quesadillas on corn tortillas. I usually get a modelo (BC THEY ACTUALLY HAVE IT ON DRAFT WOOHOO!) or a mango margarita which is always delicious. The tacos are amazing I love the carne asada and shrimp ones or the tacos gorbador and they’re all fyaaaa. Val behind the bar is the best has good vibes and very attentive. Can’t recomend this...
