Went in this past weekend (Saturday evening) and ordered an Al pastor (adobada?) vampiro, 3 quesabirria tacos with consommĂ©, and an order of carne asada nachos. The meat was delicious and cooked perfectly on the vampiro and it honestly tasted pretty great despite it feeling a little light on toppings for the price. I am always excited to try quesabirria tacos from a new place but was unfortunately let down with these. I like my quesabirria tacos with lots of cheese and a nice crispy finish but these were floppy and pretty light on the cheese I almost thought they came without it (the meat was tender and again pretty tasty like on the vampio). Also smaller than the usual quesabirria tacos I get for the same price point. Finally, the nachos were just a total let down for us. They were drowning in yellow cheese sauce which I totally was not expecting and probably should have paid a little more attention to the menu because I would have definitely skipped this item. It was chips, yellow cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, a little bit of diced cebolla y cilantro, and carne asada. They sort of felt like nachos you get from a high school football game but with some carne asada tossed on there. The carne asada was tender but I couldn’t really tell the flavor with all the cheese drowning everything out, we ended up throwing these out. All in all, we probably won’t be coming back. We were excited to have a new Mexican food place around the corner but the disparity between what we paid and what we took home was just not it. We will continue to make the drive to AZ Tacos Veganos in Arcadia or Tacos Jalisco in Scottsdale; similar price points but much...

My score isn’t for specific staff or the food. The food is pretty solid chain taco food and the birria hits the spot even if some prices are a bit high.

The issues is how management has consistently understaffed this store in a manner that leads to longer than needed waits, confusion on orders, cold food and frustrations.

Leaving 1 person to take orders, expo food, coordinate with the kitchen and pass out orders is just too much. We have come here about 5 times now and if the first two times hadn’t been good before they did the grand opening we wouldn’t be back. Long wait times, wrong food being delivered and chaos in the kitchen is the norm. For the dinner rush they need at least 2 front of house employees. Nothing kills an atmosphere faster than a room full of frustrated people watching food get cold in the window after they have been waiting 20 minutes.

Management: fix your...

Stop, hold up! Today's 1st impression was not good! Atmosphere and service, just average. Our group went in at noontime, there was only a few people in the restaurant. So it wasn't really busy. I ordered street tacos that did not have fresh meat. The asada and pastor were both dry and at room temperature, at best. I also ordered a surf and turf burrito. Initially I enjoyed it, but the more I ate the less I enjoyed. The shrimp in the burrito was fine, but the beef in it was approximately a tablespoon amount of meat and was minced so small it could have been minced hamburger meat. So not a good 1st impression. Food came out at room temp. Pricey for subpar food. All members of our group all agreed, No one would come back. Too expensive, to get a...

I was happy to see a new restaurant in South Phoenix as it's primarily fast food all along Baseline. This new location hasn't been open that long. I decided to give it a try because who doesn't like tacos? I went with their Keto Tacos ( Al pastor, Birria, & Chicken) The shell of course is cheese which suits me right as I start my Keto lifestyle, trust me, I wanted to eat all the carbs, but I was good. I also ordered a side of guacamole which was ok but even better to dip my tacos in. The Red Hot sauce is really good. The Birria meat was nice and tender as was the chicken. All 3 were pretty good and the staff was friendly. They had one television that was playing football. The place was nice and clean as well. I Stop

Wow. The Birria ramen + quesa birria taco combo is an absolute must try. The tacos were a little on the small side. The tacos pastor had great flavor. The tacos asada were also worth grabbing up. In my opinion what sets this place apart is the Birria. Tender meat and a rich beef broth. The cilantro and brighten up the flavor. The best part is paring it with the quesabirria tacos - a fried cheese and meat filled taco. Once you add a little lime for some tang and dip it into the broth - there is no going back. The atmosphere is fine for a fast food stop.

We bought multiple surf and turf burritos and every single one was different. Some had a weird orange seemingly mayo based sauced pouring out of them like a cup of it had been squirted in the burrito and some of them had shrimps with tails on like they were made by someone who has no clue how to prep shrimp.
