Order online for curbside pickup. Showed at the designated curbside pickup spot and called the phone posted on the sign. No answer. Took 4 tries then finally answer and before I can say a word they put me on hold. Sat on hold for 6 minutes in my car waiting. Decided to stay on hold walked inside. Granted it was busy people waiting outside and lobby was full of customers waiting to be seated. No social distancing. Walked to the cashier counter for pickup order no one available waited finally flagged down a waitress. Advise had a curbside pickup order been sitting in my car on hold no one came back on the phone. She said ok left while waiting I hear the phone continuously ringing and Ringing thinking poor customers outside waiting for their curbside pickup trying to call and no one answers. Hostess comes tried telling her been on hold waiting for someone to answer have a curbside pickup but it was like that didnāt matter she ask for the order name and went to grab it. She brought my food asked if itās been sitting a while since I been waiting a while said no. I also informed there are other cars waiting outside too for curbside pickup but it didnāt seem like that was of importance and there was no sense urgency. Online ordering is great and curbside pickup is a good idea if they took these type of customer with urgency and valued customers. If unable to meet the demand, urgency, and value your online customers for curbside pickup then shouldnāt have it available or limit pick up times during busy hours. Donāt live very far from the restaurant and food was fairly warm not sure how long itās been sitting there. Place of business shouldnāt leave customers on hold with the intention of not returning back...

We were happy to get a table so fast, we waited and waited and waited for our waitress. 30 min went by with us just sitting there - ignored completely by the staff. It was somewhat busy but not totally packed like usual. Tables with food were being tended too left and right, as we sat with not a single worker coming to take our order.
While workers messed around towards the back and were chilling. This place has a lot of servers and blew my mind that not 1 came to our table. Even when making eye contact and looking annoyed.
We ended up walking out, never in my life have we done that at a restaurant, even when the service is bad. I waited in line for another 10 min to talk to a manager that had another customer complaining about his service and items. I gave up because his complaint was taking so long and we already wasted 45-50 min of our day in this IHOP for nothing.
I called the manager and left a long voicemail about our experience. This place needs staff that actually want to work there and do their jobs. It is ridiculous to wait 30 min and not be tended to in a restaurant. We have been in a busier IHOP every other time and weāre taken care up within 5 min of being seated. This particular restaurant I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. Unless you want to waste an hour or more of your day and end up eating elsewhere. I was not greeted promptly and when I was sat I noticed the towels left on a table and chair, a bus tub left EMPTY on the table next to me and two dirty tables behind a family of 6. The young man that sat me had an opportunity to pick up the tub and towels, likewise the server tending to the family never took advantage of removing anything on his several trips to their table. When the same server came up to my table I happen to be on a phone call and asked hiscto return, again made no attempt to clear any of the afore mentioned items. After several mins passed and observing one of the other guests going to get their table silverware. I had to speak up and let the manager know the disaster going on in her store. I have worked in the industry from buser to 1st Assit Manager and currently work as a owner/operator of my own Karaoke Co. I didn't not accept her excuse that she had to leave for the bank. Because she left the store in the hands of someone not competent to manage others. Reflection works from the top down and todays kids need to be instructed every step. All, need to hold each other up but also hold each other accountable. Even at a hired entertainer I find myself helping the team by bussing tables and cleaning up if is necessary.
