I've been going to Manantial since they were by 43rd Ave & Indian school in a small shop when the owners were the ones who worked the place, Marcos and his wife Luz I believe is her name. The customer service was excellent and everything they sold was delicious. After closing down their 43rd Ave location, I followed them to their current location and used to also go to the location they had on 67th Ave & Camelback. At the Camelback location I used to almost always get attended by the same girl and she would get my order wrong literally every single time. The worst part is that when I went, it was never busy so I don't know how she always got my order wrong. At the 59th Ave location, it seems like they only hire girls who hate working. I almost never get welcomed, get a smile out of any of them or even a thank you. They are so rude, you could come in and they'll be busy preparing orders which is super understandable, but they'll just look over at you and turn away. Like you could at least smile and say "we'll be right with you" or something. I know we all have bad days, but don't take it out on your customers. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years and I have bad days sometimes too but that doesn't give me the right to be rude to people, it's not their fault I'm having a bad day. And if that wasn't enough, I almost always get my order wrong here too. It's not like I ask for anything difficult, it's usually the type of cheese or no onion and no mayo on my sandwiches. It's really not that hard to pay attention and get an order right. I normally take out so it's always so frustrating getting back to work or home and noticing my order is wrong. I'm always against the clock so I don't have time to drive back to get my order fixed. The food is still good, but I am so sick of getting my orders wrong. I think I've put up with it for too many years and I don't think...
Read moreI went to the Avondale Blvd and Buckeye Rd.location and the Horchata tasted like it had gone bad it was BAD and bought the pico de gallo and the Escamocha looked nothing like the pictures. The pico de gallo had no watermelon, sliced coconut and mango. The Escamocha had no banana and in both the fruit was hard and stale. I won't be back to there place. 1/14/21 response- I just saw your response and comment and I don't know why you checked in all your locations when I wrote on the comment that I went to the one on Avondale and I first brought this awareness to Tortas Manantial through Tortas Manantail Instagram account and wrote about what happened with the Horchata had gone bad and they were selling it like that and we didn't notice till we got home to try them and the fruit wasn't good this was on a Sunday Morning a few weeks ago and who ever is in charge of the Instagram account offer to give me a refund and I declined, because I wrote that I would take it as a lost and just wouldn't be back, so they decided to delete my comment on Instagram. A company should know that not every customer will have a good experience or service and that negative comments doesn't mean an attack on the business it's just to better your service to the customer. I just wrote my experience here after the one on Instagram got deleted or taken off whatever you want to call it. I am just sharing my experience and for you guys to be aware of what is going on and I am being nice about it and not writing bad things here. Take care and...
Read moreI work nights and the options for good food early morning are very slim to none, so when i found out this place was open early enough i decided to visit. I had been wanting to try this place for a while, esp with all the ads bombarding me on IG. I went w my finace, he got a torta cubana and a licuado de fresa. Taste wise, his meal was delicious but he did mention the torta was skinny af (very little meat/veg). I got the torta de pierna and an agua de guanabana. Torta tasted good, but the agua tasted weirdly milky and frothy and had ice blended in, like a licuado. I went to the front to ask if they accidentally made me a licuado and she said no. Then she said if i didnt like it she could water it down for me (???) or add sugar. Ive had agua de guanabana before and this did not taste like it and ive also never had anyone blend ice into an agua before, thats a licuado. I felt like i was being lied to straight to my face and did not appreciate it but im not the kind of person to freak out over something so trivial so i just threw it away. Thats the last thing i wanted to do as this restaurant is expensive for what it is. The food is good, but not enough to excuse...
