Review for Sybil's Diner - Piedmont
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I had the pleasure of dining at Sybil's Diner recently, and let me just say, this place is a gem! I ordered the ham and cheese omelette along with a side of biscuits and gravy, and it was nothing short of delicious. The omelette was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and generously filled with savory ham and melted cheese—definitely a comfort food classic done right!
The biscuits and gravy were equally impressive. The biscuits were warm and flaky, topped with the perfect amount of rich, creamy gravy that had just the right spice to it. Every bite was hearty and satisfying; it truly reminded me of the home-cooked breakfasts I love.
One of the highlights of my visit was the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure to check in on me throughout my meal to ensure everything was tasting great. Their warm hospitality added to the overall experience, making me feel right at home.
If you’re in the area, I highly recommend supporting Sybil's Diner. Not only do they serve delicious food, but they're also a great reminder of the charm and kindness that local diners bring to our communities. I can’t wait to go back and try more...
Read moreFirst time coming in with my husband, and with my parents they've eaten breakfast here once said it was good so figured we'd try the lunch menu.
Our waitress was helpful and super friendly.
Clean inside, looks very nice! Comfortable chairs, well put designed layout. Clean restrooms just a one person stall.
Food was good! Had a cheeseburger. My only complaint would be the potato salad tasted like grocery store style not a hit with me. Needed more seasoning. Beef tasted fresh that they butcher themselves, quality is way better than most burger places. My mom shops at the meat market next door so I know and trust where the beef is coming from so thank you.
Otherwise food was good! Would come back and try something else. Wishing luck for this new restaurant...
Read moreStopped by the new spot in Piedmont and was largely disappointed. Food tasted "okay". Cheeseburger is described with grilled onions but comes with raw. Server says, "oh you gotta specify" ma'am that is not what your menu says. Sandwiches come dry, adding condiments costs extra, unless you squeal. Server was polite and on top of things, but my change was given back to me in a crumpled wad on the table. Dining room and bathrooms are clean and inviting.
Giving Sybils some grace, seeing as they are BRAND NEW and presumably have little food experience. Hopefully after a little time to settle, this place will be on par with...
