I ordered take out. quick and timely. that is why they got one star. this was my first trip so I ordered a sampler. I figured there would be something I would enjoy. the Pico and chips. that was it. I added the Pico to the salsa which was just blended tomatoes with garlic powder and onion powder with a pepper, so lazy. The rice had a odd taste. the beans were tasteless. the enchilada was just a rolled shell stuffed with tasteless dry chichen. People please learn how to make enchiladas. The taco meat was ground so much that it felt like tasteless powdered mush. the Tamale was fair. except it was drowned in the red sauce. which was odd tasting. being raised in El Paso spoils you. This makeshift food was a let down. the Chile relleno was drowned in the red sauce. so I could not tell you how it tasted. what has happened to using enchilada sauce. real ground beef and flavor . if you were raised on Mexican food, then skip this place. unless...
Read moreI came here on 01/09/2022 at around 2 PM and I was with 3 other people. Before I go in to this, I will say I have loved this place in the past. Today we were not greeted with smiles or anything and that is usually not the case. I felt pretty unwelcome, actually. It seemed to be a problem that we wanted to sit up front because my disabled uncle has breathing problems. That was probably because of a miscommunication somewhere though. We did end up sitting up front. We ordered our drinks with one person and the wrong one for my uncle was brought out. We told the lady be wanted a different type and thought she would bring it. We never got the drink and had to ask a 3rd person. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer and got if after the food and never even got brought chips to finish it. No extra salsa was offered. We also had to ask 2 separate people for a to go box. The food was great. The...
Read moreIt’s not in my nature to write bad reviews, and I am generally low maintenance. But I feel this review is important. It had a good first impression, but that quickly ended when I tasted the chicken. I’m 90% sure it’s from a can, which I suppose wouldn’t be a huge deal if their food wasn’t a bit pricey? Not too, but too pricey for canned chicken and mediocre “famous” cheese sauce. And most importantly, my sister (who’s allergic to shrimp) ordered a chicken enchilada and had an ALLERGIC REACTION. She is okay though. But we were very confused as to how that happened. Our guess? There was some sort of shrimp juice or something on a cutting board, so that must mean they don’t wash equipment after they use it. I guess we’ll never know for sure why it happened. Unfortunately I would advise people to...
