Once again I had returned to the Pine Bluff Arkansas Ramada Inn for Chase Bank's intensive gender issues awareness boot camp. I have always considered myself a bit of a feminist but in the current pc culture some executive's at Chase felt it was "wildly inappropriate" and "creepy" that I would ask potential new hires to sketch their feet during the interview process. Despite my frustration I must say that my third trip to this particular seminar was by far the most rousing. I had a very invigorating discussion with a fellow human colleague on how FDR taking the USA off the gold standard effected the development of gender studies. After having my mind thoroughly stimulated I needed a watermelon mojito to bring things back down. I at first went to Red Lobster but after a heated philosophical disagreement with their manager about how much fabric is required to use the term 'wearing pants' I left furious. I was about to give up on the whole day when I came across The Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The smoothies were good. The waitress seemed to be virtuous and have good dental hygiene for the region. The restrooms for both genders appeared to be quite...
Read moreI came into your restaurant yesterday, June 19, to get a drink.I have been coming there for many years and have always found the service good and the people friendly. However yesterday considering all that is going on with the coronavirus was a different story. Of the four people that were working in the store two were wearing mask, but The other two one preparing drinks and one preparing food and the other preparing drinks were either partially mashed or not Wearing a mask at all. I seriously considered not getting food and just walking out. The problem is whoever was in charge was not enforcing the rules. At the very least both of these people not only should’ve been wearing mask but should have had face shields as well. In the future even though I tend to stop in this place several times a week I will not be ordering any more food or drinks unless I see that you are following proper health procedures. What will your clientele Think if people who were in your restaurant get the virus and it is traced back to your food Preparers who are not taking proper health and...
Read moreI have been to several tropical smoothies and enjoy them very much. My family and I went here to the Pine Bluff location and ordered for our kids like we usually do but did not receive a full kids meal. We had to pay separately for smoothies and did not receive a side even though on the menu it says "kids food item with choice of side & 12 oz. kids smoothie ". We asked a second time about getting the kids side (fruit or chips) and she just said she's never done it and walked away. We have hungry little kids so this was very expensive and disappointing!!! When we got our food my husbands buffalo chicken wrap was cold. Everything else was very good.
If you're planning to eat here, be sure to point this out as the employees are unaware of the menu's content and how to...
