Jim Deggys (Pineville) — Restaurant in Pineville

Ok so me and my fiance came to Pineville this week to see her family for turkey day. We came in Wednesday evening and me being a pizza guy a googled local pizza so we a quick dinner covered. Called in 3pizzas on our way there and was told is would be like 20 mins. We get there 20mins later and they were slammed so I didn't mind having to stand around for another 15 mins to get our order. The young lady at the front was fast and friendly and took the time to stop taking another order because she knew mine was ready. The pizza was freaking delicious.... loved it and the cherry on top was the fact they make thier own in house ranch and it is the bomb! 💯 I'm a pizza guy and always respect those places that stand out by making thier own dips. The pizza was so good that today on our way home I wanted to swing by and grab 3 more pizzas for the drive home...... The swamp monster a whole deggi and the spinach artichoke. On the way out I noticed they had cupcakes so I dat my order down pulled out my wallet and snagged one..... I asked the girl if they were made in house to which she replied no I think she said the owners wife makes them on the side. I bought the one that has the little girl scout cookie on top. I absolutely loved ever pizza we bought from them.... loved the ranch.... and loved there marinara sauce as well.....but the only thing that let me down was the cupcake...... the frosting was phenomenal but the cupcakes itself....was dried out like and old biscuit 🥹 But hey you don't go there for the cupcakes......ya go for the pizza..... and we will be back! And hopefully the cuppy cakes will be...

This place was a cut above the rest.. saw them out of the corner of my eye, while i was on a road trip to Texas.. decided to stop in. Because i was hungry? no.. my dog who was traveling with, was out of water. I puked behind their store to pilfer some aqua from whomevers hose was available.. nada . Nobody had any . Then.. a lovely lady poured out of the backdoor to smooch up a co-worker on the sly.. (it at least so she thought.) when i interrupted and asked if there was water available. She came back with not a cup, not a bowl, but a SACK of water. Which made me wanna hang out more. Walked around, minute i walked in 8 was greeted warmly by someone I've never met.. (best way), pizza choices were cleverly named.. and simple. Want meet?.. get (insert) like veggie? (See former). Delicious !IPA's and regular favs.. whole meal.. Awesome, atmosphere?.. Stellar.. prices? .. reasonable. I haven't ran across a lot of places in LA worth praising.. THIS place.. should be the capital. Do yourself a favor...
