Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Piqua

We ordered takeout tonight, spent $30 on two pizzas only to discover one pizza was burnt and it was made wrong, I called the Piqua store to inquire about a refund and was told by (if you could call him a manager) Joe the manager it was our fault it was made wrong because we called the phone number to this store and got connected to call center and we should have called there and we would have got the right sauce on our pizza,no excuse for the burnt issue or an apology or even any kind of resolve? He stated he would remake the wrong sauce / burnt pizza over for us but he’d still put pizza sauce on it because that’s what their policy says, wow really, I was always told that if we have the product we can make what a customer asked for, what’s so hard about subbing pizza sauce for ranch dressing especially if you have ranch dressing on your menu? The guy was rude, condensing, further investigation I’ve found this location is know for its rude employees and bad food ! Buyers beware! I’ll never order from that...

I ordered two pizzas on Saturday 5/4/24 at 7:00 pm. I picked up the pizzas and brought them home to discover that one of the pizzas was burned. I returned to the restaurant and asked the store manager why the pizza made it to me burned. She bluntly explained to me that it was my perception and that the pizza was not burned, even though the edges were black and charred to the point of disintegration with black blotches on top. I simply asked for a refund and left without further discussion or argument. I was pretty much got the feeling that somehow this was my fault. The place and atmosphere was great for a new store.the guy behind the counter was not talkative and did not great me he said that can I get ya .all that aside being. New store I get it . The pizza 🍕 was t done in the center now that was disappointing and why I have them only 3 stars ..the ingredients were fresh and good 👍. I will go back again and give them another try as they get more practice making and baking in the new store and baking the pizzas 🍕 more with more experience I hope to give a better review for the piqua ohio store . Over all it was okay for the value of the crust would have been done I center . I would like to say it was fabulous...
