Dulce's Antojitos #1 — Restaurant in Pittsburg

Never been here before and my friend that lives out here said this place is one of the better spots. Got me super burrito, steak with the works and of course a Large Horchata with a side of chips and dip. When we got home to eat, oh my goodness was the seasoning and flavor so delicious. Pretty much never put the burrito down once I got started. 😆 Definitely recommend this place if you are wanting a good quality burrito. Would give it a 5* but I wasn't too happy with the cashier not verifying they had regular Horchata and they told me they only had strawberry horchata instead. Once order was ready they hand me my burritos but no drinks. Walk over to were they have the different drinks and what do you know, they have a big jug of horchata just chilling there. So I tell the cashier um...there's regular horchata here. They said " Oh from where I was standing I couldn't see it at the time" Really?! Come on! I simply said "Can I get my drinks and get the regular horchata instead please?" Which they did. But things like that make a difference on how the public sees your employees. This place is a true gem for Pittsburg, and it’s no surprise they’ve been around for so long. I’d be shocked if they haven’t appeared on any cooking channels! This restaurant offers a wide range of options, including different salsas, fresh smoothies, ice cream, and authentic Mexican and Salvadoran dishes. Also, what restaurant do you know that includes roasted chiles and beans at their salsa bar. So good!

My personal favorites are their pupusas and tortas. I’ve never had a torta quite like theirs. The fact that they melt the cheese into the bread is unique and absolutely delicious. Chef's kiss.

Their catering is fantastic. I hosted an event for over 20 people for Father's day last summer, and they made the catering process quick and simple through Doordash. I normally come in and buy big orders. The sad thing is I get 1 small bag for Chip's. My order are for 6 to 8 people sometimes, and they say I can only have 1 bag for chip's. When I try to tell them those working near the chip and salsa area about my order, they are not trying to listen. I believe u get 1 bag per order. Will I order for multiple people. I didn't get Chip's last time I ordered there it wasn't convenient for me. I ordered my order on to have ready to be picked up, and no chips came with it. Then I have to wait in line 10 mins trying to get chips.

I now go buy my own bag of chips elsewhere anyplace that makes them fresh before coming to order here.
