Update:
Went on 4/13/2021 and spent $28.29 and nothing was edible. This time worse than the other times which I have no clue how this is possible. There was a sign in the drive thru Window saying for customers to keep their recipes or they will not get a refund or get their correct order, haha. That pretty much tells you this happens all the time if they have to post a sign. In any case, waited in line 40-45 minutes just to get a boatload of food that was disgusting. The only thing that I could eat was the ice cream cone. I've reported this to McDonald's Corporate and was told local management would call back but this is going to be the second time in which I haven't been called or emailed. They don't care so don't bother. You are probably thinking it's McDonald's get over yourself. No, no, no, this is the garbage can of McDonald's. Every fast food restaurant has an off day but not every day. We've given this place enough times to redeem themselves and it doesn't change nor does management care. Even if you are desperate or starving pass on bye and let your belly eat itself. Trust me no good will do from making a stop here. If it isn't too late at night go to the one that's a little farther off of the Green Tree exit. Much better! Actually, 100% better and edible. When you order 6 Double Cheese Burgers, 2 Filet of Fish, 2 McChicken w/cheese, a chocolate shake and a ice cream cone and are hungry atleast you will be able to eat more than the $1 ice cream cone.
We go to McDonald's because my boy's love it, a Chihuahua & Siberian Husky and the husband and I crave good ole fashion fast food on occasion. You know what you are getting with fast food, right? Nah, not so much. But the one thing about this McDonald's is that the burgers are consistently burned (burnt). My dog's won't even eat it. In fact, we're stupid for consistently going back. I don't know if the grill(s) need cleaned or they over cook but you can guarantee a burger or anything else made on the grill will be burned (burnt). I guess I shouldn't complain online unless I call the location directly. With that being said, the next time we go for our boys if it's burned (burnt) we will call. Or if this location looks at this review and responds I'll call. Otherwise, for a fairly busy McDonald's everything is as expected, "fast food.". Maybe, a bit MORE lettuce on the McChicken which my husband thinks is ridiculous but I like a fair ratio of everything ( chicken, mayo and lettuce). They are an average McDonald's and I would rate the location higher but just get the burgers right and we're cool!! Thxs and as honest as a review as you will get.
P.S. Don't burn the burgers and we would come 3-4 times a wk for my boys! Once or twice a mth for us. Otherwise, we go right next door to Wendy's and honestly my Chihuahua likes McDonald's more when it's not...
Read moreThe staff is fantastic and they work extremely hard for very little pay, and must put up with a lot of unjustified negative behavior from customers. You should never eat the food at any McDonald's, as it is so incredibly harmful to your health. I suggest that before going to McDonald's next time, do some research and find out what ingredients are in their products. And if you do go, make sure you tell the staff how much you appreciate them... A simple thank you for all you do, or a specific compliment of any sort will make someone's day I promise. And if you really want to do something that makes a huge positive difference, take note or ask the name of the employees you interact with, then call the customer service number on the receipt and tell them how good their employees are, and how good your experience was. Never mind the food, these are the most hard-working employees that you will encounter, and they hardly ever get compliments. Calling that customer service number and giving specific names sometimes even can help get someone a raise or promotion! And to top it all off many times when you take the time to call the customer service number on the receipt, they will send you coupons to thank you for your feedback so everyone wins! And in the interest of full disclosure, no I have never worked there, but I have been a manager at a similar establishment in the same industry and guarantee you I know what I'm talking about. I’m not proud of this, but I’ve been to hundreds of McDonalds both inside and outside of the US and this is by far the SLOWEST McDonalds I’ve ever been to. And they are consistently slow! Not just during meal times. I waited a while to post this review bc I hoped they’d improve but today I placed a mobile order and was waiting 15 minutes and nothing. I went inside to cancel it and they said they couldn’t cancel it and the order hadn’t even came on their system. I’d placed it 25 minutes before! I was late for church so I had to leave it. I called after getting out of church and the person on the phone told me to just come back and she’s prepare it for me. I get there and get in their always terribly slow drive thru. I was told to drive to the 2nd window. 10 minutes later and I’m told they can’t remake my order. I just drove off bc I’d used my free McCafé coupon which was no longer available bc I had used it! They are even slower when you use Ubereats which I wouldn’t recommend bc it’s so expensive and you have to wait 45 minutes minimum.
