I walked in the entire place was smoking. Youu could smell it from the outside on the way in to the establishment.. I looked at my pizza and seen it was not lightly baked... So many other places that I've been to, that actually know how to lightly bake a pizza. The gentleman that was trying to be courteous, trying to explain the smoke filled building telling me that is a lightly baked pizza. LOL, It's not even close.... Very disappointing, when they don't get my order correct. I should have realized that when I saw my receipt. They didn't even have the right name on the order. My name is not Jim, nor did I say my name was Jim. (Not sure where they got that from) However it was my order.. This pizza place charges you $4 more to have a thicker Pizza. Seriously!! It would have been a lot cheaper for me to buy two of their very large pizzas as opposed to two mediums, with thick crust. Anyhow, The pizza really was not that good, to begin with. Sauce is very plain and bland. Along with the burnt taste in my mouth. Let's not forget, I'm now out over $40 Absolutely no recommendation here. A deplorable PIZZA.... The really foul burnt smell and smoke coming from the building, followed me all the way home. The smell even stunk up my new truck, now mind you the pizza was in the bed of the truck. I get it things do happen.. However, a customer's order should be correct. They are spending their hard-earned money in your establishment..

If you’re looking for the best NY-style pizza in the ‘burgh, then Slice on Broadway has got you covered. I honestly can’t believe I’ve never chosen to go to this place beforehand, and I’m a big fan of this kind of pizza. The crust is perfectly NY-style, the cheese was exceptionally good, and the toppings were top-notch and high quality. To keep it real, it’s legit and it’s delicious. The shop itself is quite small inside, but it’s got great people and great pizza. One worker I met, Chris, was absolutely fantastic. Very helpful, very welcoming, and also very kind. Everyone provided fantastic service. You won’t get an experience like this anywhere else, I can tell you that much! If you’re thinking about it…just stop and go try it. You won’t regret it.

We moved to PGH from Florida a few months ago. Where we lived, most of the pizza spots were authentic New York style pizza. Moving to PGH, we missed that thinner pizza with a crispy bottom and cooked well done. We also tried numerous spots looking for a real white pizza. New York style white pizza has ricotta cheese and garlic on it. I'm so glad we stumbled upon Slice on Broadway. It's everything we've been missing!! That Bianca pizza is phenomenal. Cooked exactly how we like it! Staff was super friendly inside. This is absolutely going to be our "pizza spot" from now on. Started digging in before I remembered to take a picture lol. Highly recommend!

I'm editing my review because we have been loyal customers to this business for the last 3 plus years. You guys used to be so good and awesome. But unfortunately after a 2 plus hour delivery wait and being lied to on the first call and the second call I was hung up on then again was hung up on for zero reason. Call again to just cancel the order and they put me on hold with the Loudest possible volume for their hold music like screaming loud. Like I feel as though it was done on purpose how loud it was😑. I've worked in the service industry for more than half my life and I have never just hung up on a customer let alone twice. The even more bummer thing is we literally live like a block behind slice. It's never taken more than 45min to get our order to us. It's not like I would have been pissed if you're busy I get that, but to be lied to about delivery time twice and then to blatantly hang up on a loyal customer twice? Super bummed. The only saving grace is Chris. He was very understanding and apologetic. We got our food after another 20 min wait ( we are literally a 10 min walk away) it was ice cold and hard and cut weird as all heck. I'm sorry to say but this might be the last time we order from Slice. Don't lie to your customers just refund and apologize. I have attached a photo of the buffalo chicken pizza we received. We ordered at 530 pm got our food at 7:50 pm ice cold. This is the only time we've had this issue. I believe it's because we were going to tip cash. Since the tip wasn't visible in the app I believe that our food wasn't anyone's priority. Chris reassured me this wasn't the case. But being in the service industry myself I can't help but feel like that had something to do with it. 😟

So sooooooo disappointed

ALWAYS AMAZING! Seriously my husband and I order too much from here. Highly recommend classic pepperoni. Everything is awesome from...

I decided to try a couple NY pizza joints today. Started with Fazio’s and decided I would drive the 10 mins to Slice in Broadway for a couple slices as well.

Walked in and they had a lot going on, but not insanely busy. Typical pizza joint on Sunday afternoon busy. One group was seated and one person waiting.

I stood there for 10 mins and not once did someone say, “be right with you,” or “thanks for stopping in, give me a few and I’ll get to ya.” Nope. Nothing. Didn’t even get a glance.

I was really wanting to try this place since they are pretty close to NY style pizza. After 10 mins of being ignored, I walked out. First and last chance. I have no desire to give my money to a business that can’t even say, “give me a few, I’ll be right with ya.” And based on what I saw, their ‘by the slice’ looked pretty nasty sitting out all day.

Fazio’s on the other hand, the moment I walked in, a gentleman was in the phone and waved to me. The cook in back came out and greeted me. They make their slices fresh.

Too bad, Slice in Broadway. I was really hoping to try your pizza....
