We’re always very careful to order correctly thanks to food allergies. Unfortunately, Vocelli isn’t as careful to listen. We ordered a pizza with the white garlic sauce, they sent us a pizza with red sauce... and a little garlic sauce with it in the box. When we called, the woman (Katelyn, the manager) on the phone insisted we didn’t specify that the pizza was to have garlic sauce, only that the Vocelli rolls we ordered were... which is incorrect. Both were, because I cannot eat tomato, so we very clearly and explicitly ordered both with garlic sauce and no red sauce with either. She insisted she remembered because she wrote it down; I know I remember better given that it's my order and my food allergies. I mean, she obviously wrote down that we wanted the garlic sauce, since they put one in the box with the pizza- but either she wrote it down wrong, or the kitchen made a mistake. Eventually she agreed to send a new pizza with the correct sauce, but she was rude from the outset about the need to correct the order that was clearly Vocelli's mistake. It’s sad since they’re so close, but I’ll find somewhere else to spend my money that can actually bother to listen and not argue over their own mistake when they’re asked to fix it. They didn’t give us a receipt to keep, either, so I also have to wonder if they charged us extra for that sauce. The pizza isn't the worst and the Vocelli rolls are decent, but it isn't worth having to argue with someone and then waiting an extra 30+ minutes to get your correct order delivered to you. Such an unnecessary hassle. I...
Read moreThis place is terrible in service and food. We ordered two pizzas at 6:30. We were quoted 45 minutes. One hour and 15 minutes after ordering, we called asking where our pizza was. No phone call was made to us to let us know that there would be a delay. We were told that the pizza was on the way. Two hours after ordering our pizza we called again asking where our pizza was. Again, no phone call was made to us updating us on the delay. We were told that it would be twenty minutes more because the driver had to go back and get new pizzas, so at least our pizzas would be fresh. This time, the driver did actually show up. He did not offer any sort of discount for the two and half hour delay. We had to call the store to talk to a manager. The manager would not budge at first, but then finally offered to email us a coupon for a free pizza at a later date. In no way would we ever want any sort of pizza from this place. I let the driver know as he waltzed off. Also, the pizza was cold when we got it, so the story about the pizza being fresh was a load of bull. Don’t waste your time...
Read moreVocelli was definently one of my favorites till I recieved a late delivery. Well past my bed time but more importantly... my daughters. We tipped normal and stayed curtious. Pizza wasn't fully cooked. Upset I called in for a to complain and the guy was nice. He said "it must had been an accident, I'm sorry, bring in the pizza for a refund". I take the pizza there and the owner is throwing pizzas across the counter and getting smart with me. Now I'm not one for violence but I know I'll assault anybody disrespecting me in front of my daughter... please let this happen again Vocelli. I beg of you. Besides that the pizza is usually ok and delivered in a timely fashion. Ps. Definently...
