If I could give negative stars, I would. Worst buffet i’ve ever been to in my life. I came here with my boyfriend for my 20th birthday and it was the worst part of my entire day. We came during what most would consider a normal dinner time of 5pm, maybe a little later so you would think that the food would be freshly prepared and hot but this was not the case here at all. All of the food was cold and leftover from either the day before or lunch. The sausage round was crusted over on the end that I cut from. The rice crispy I bit into was so old that I could’ve went outside and took a bite out of the curb for the same effect. The jello was so rubbery, it must’ve been weeks old. The crab was rotten. They don’t allow you to put rice in your hibachi, which in my opinion, and based on my previous experiences with buffets, completely defeats the purpose. I’m sorry but I want my plate cooked together. After this horrible experience with the food, I called over a manager only to get treated like I was wrong for not enjoying the food they had left out from probably the time that they had opened that day. She was rude and inconsiderate. She didn’t even apologize for our horrible experience or offer to reduce pricing, nothing. She lied to my face by telling us that all the food we ate was completely fresh, believe me it wasn’t. She also told me that I was the only person to ever complain about the food tasting old, but as I’m reading through some older reviews, I can clearly see that this too was a lie. She then proceeded to insult me by saying “anything you want we can cook fresh right now”, which was a little distasteful for a manager in my opinion. She was just extremely defensive rather than apologetic and sincere. Horrible experience. I truthfully wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst and most...
Read moreNot worthy of the price. Should not be called seafood buffet. From the moment we walked in was pressed about money. Waiting to be seated older female yells "You got my money??" twice at us. I ask if we pay first? She then changes tone "Oh, no you just get here. Let me seat you". So we prepare our plates. I tip hibachi chef. Dinners over we get bill. No more than I say to my boyfriend I think we pay on the way out since the lady yelled at us first coming in. The waitress was looming behind prepared. She says "No, I take it!" I was thinking "how she hear that??" She comes back with receipt to sign and leave tip. She gives it to me and stands over me waiting to see the tip amount! We were appalled! She didn't leave. I have a conversation with my boyfriend about tipping cash or on the card. He gets up to leave and I'm signing. She starts yelling in the restaurant "No, he said $$amount" Not knowing I was going to leave some cash too! Another waitress flanks the other side of me really close and starts cleaning the table but looking over my shoulder. I try to explain we already tipped hibachi and now I'm leaving half cash half on card... Didn't matter she keeps yelling "no, he said $$" She said " That for him the hibachi not for me! I only make $X an hour!!) I felt horrified. The whole restaurant was looking horrified at me like they knew they better get out wallets because they're next. It was not any better than any other buffet to charge that much. We were bullied about money from start. NEVER RETURNING!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! We laugh at the story now. But it was so rude and I felt threatened with them standing over both my shoulders telling me what to tip at...
Read moreDon't EVER go to this place. This was my first time visiting this place. First, when we got there as a party of four, the manager immediately pointed to a sign stating only seven crab legs per person. Anything over seven you would be charged one dollar per crab leg. He was vehement about this. I was so turned off by his actions. After all this place is a buffet. I get you dont waste food but this was just plain crazy. My cousin's husband was the one that invited us so I bit my tongue and we were seated. Now, to make matters worse during the course of our time there I had a CLEAR VIEW to the front door. At first I did not notice what was going on until my cousin pointed it out to me. The manager would only point to sign when African Americans parties would come in. He never did this to Asian or White couples. I watched this everytime folks walked in. At this point I was ready to go. This was disgusting. Mind you the crab legs were not fresh. The shells bent in lieu of snapping as fresh ones do and they were very small. As we were leaving an African American party of six came in a bingo he emphatically pointed to the sign. I overheard one lady in party say that was new meaning she had been there in past. Folks, I know we are in a very delicate position in our democracy with people taking sides. I think we can do better and it saddens me that I had to write this with the possibility of some thinking I am doing this to divide folks. Again, I had NEVER been to this place before. To see what I did was truly awful. If I could give negative stars I would give them five. Best thing I can do is be honest tell you what I witnessed and NEVER patronize this...
