Any other time the food is fine. Last night my boyfriend and I went. His junior bacon cheeseburger was luke warm, and mine was cold. The cheese literally wasn't even melted on it, it had a little dab of mayo and a half broken piece of bacon with a tomatoe slice that was hard as a rock because it was the top of the tomato. The fries tasted like they were 5 hours old sitting under a heat lamp. Mushy n smashed together. I also tried to get a frosty with my frosty card, and was told the frosty machine was down, as I could hear the other workers laughing in the background. Is it that hard to pull a handle and hold a cup underneath? I don't care what your job is, if you don't want to do it the right way then you shouldn't work where you work. Update- Not a thing has changed, you literally can't order in the dining room you have to go thru the drive thru because they are so understaffed. Our order was short two 4 piece chicken nuggets. The fries and nuggets were just thrown in one big bag literally all over the place not in the containers they are supposed to be in. The containers were in there but it was obvious they just threw the stuff in the bag with no care. This used to be one of the nicest, cleanest wendys. Over the past 2-3 years it has gone absolutely downhill. Somebody higher up NEEDS to step in and help get this place back to what it used to be and should be. Read moreMy husband went to this Wendy's purchased a apple pecan salad for me I always specifically get it minus the chicken but I say chicken on the side because they charge you for it anyways and I give it to the dogs, I pay for extra vinaigrette and extra pecans and extra blue cheese on the side, he said he pulls to the window and he specifically asked the young lady is everything in the bag 5 and 5 she says yes that's why I'm here to make sure everything is right and of course when he got it home to me I had a salad with now at all blue cheese 2 vinegrettes and 2 packs of pecans but he paid for the extras so when I called to speak to a manager I explained the situation and he says hold on so I can take your name I stated I'll come back tomorrow to purchase another salad and just give me the extras please he puts me on hold than hangs up the phone, I know he hung it up because I kept calling back and he would answer and say we are cetrekemy busy call back later, I just looked at the phone called back repeatedly and three more times he did that than finally the phone was taken off the hook. ITS UNFORUNATE IM CALLING HEADQUARTERS. Read moreWendy's has always had one of the fastest drive-thru's across all of the major fast food chains in my opinion, but this location tries (and succeeds) in lowering the bar an incredible amount. It was actually such a bad experience, it's actually shocking to think that this location still bears the "Wendy's" name.
I stopped in with my sons at this location on 4/13 at 12:10 am. The time was 12:48 am when we finally pulled out of the parking lot. That was not a typo - we were 38 minutes in the drive-thru! Fortunately, a few cars ahead of us gave up waiting (as did some cars behind us), otherwise the time would have been even worse. By the end of the experience, we had actually gone through a range of emotions including anger, to finally acceptance and actually finding humour in it all.
While the number of people they have on this late is reduced, there is no excuse for an order of 3 combos to take 38 minutes! Plus, and I am sorry to say this, the small handful of people working is clearly not the "A-Team" - our favourite was the employee with his hat turned to the side who you could tell was stoned out of his mind.
If you need to kill time, this is by far the best Wendy's to go to. As evidenced by other reviewers, our experience is "on par" for this location.
