BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Pittsfield Charter Township

I wanted to like this Biggby as it's ony way to work and super convenient. The service here in the morning, around 7:00am, is awful. I've visited two mornings, in different weeks so far, and the customer service I've received is completely unacceptable. I was not greeted with kindness the first visit, not when walked in (she said absolutely no words to me), not when I was grabbing my items, and when I thanked the barista, I was given barely an "mhm". I tipped her, but I regretted it after my entire short visit was unpleasant. This morning, I tried again. I was given a half smile when I arrived by one of the baristas, and the other, at the register, just stared at me. I told her good morning and she didn't respond, she took my order as of I were annoying her, apparent my her facial expression and attitude, and walked away after prepping my payment option. I didn't tip today because the service was poorly. Both baristas were kind and friendly to the other guests, but said nothing to me as I picked up my drink. This seems minimal, but after visiting this location several times and the customer service is something to be desired. Greatly. First thing in the morning, you can make or break someone's day. Haven’t had Biggby in almost 10 years when I first moved to Michigan & it was my favorite. Decided to get a blended coffee since they have so many options, plus added an extra shot of espresso. I also wanted donut holes but they keep them in the mini fridge, so they would be hard & wouldn’t taste right. This drink tasted like nothing but sugar, not even a hint of coffee! Even whipped cream had no flavor, just a terrible film left in the mouth. Went straight in the trash, unfortunately.

The barista at this location had literally no personality. Not even a friendly smile or word out of her mouth, when taking my order, money, or when my drink was done. (I’m a nice female with good manners, most likely 10 years older at most than the barista, so I can’t imagine I gave creeper vibes haha).

Biggby needs to do A LOT of work in the quality of their coffee and better hiring/training of its employees. I understand everyone has a bad day but should at least try to be a decent person for the 5 minutes it takes to order & make a drink for a customer.

Don’t recommend this company or location & will not be returning...

I ordered a bragel and they cooked the ham and cheese first (which is totally fine) but they forgot about my bagel so by the time it was toasted my ham/cheese was cold. Also one of the girls handled my bagel with one hand un-gloved (she had previously been wiping down the counter with a rag when a coffee spilled). when I politely explained why and asked for a new bagel since it had been touched by a potentially dirty hand, one of the girls behind the counter caught an attitude because I took her away from a task she was doing.
