I had a problem getting my powered subwoofer (P300-12) to power on, and had Hollywood Sound do a clean install with my own cable kit and supplies. They did it for a decent price but I have issues with the quality of install.

First, I had Posi-Taps pre-installed into my unplugged factory subwoofer for the high level input signal that I had asked the installer to use, but he plugged the factory sub back in, took my taps out, and then spliced into the wires himself using electrical tape (with no heat shrink). It looks pretty bad.

Secondly, I already had every setting configured correctly. Once installed, I could hear him running the subwoofer at a high volume for several minutes. When I looked at the sub after installation, every setting was now reversed. Most importantly, the Gain was set to MAX. This concerned me and is a very poor practice that can quickly damage a subwoofer; you should always keep gain at 0 to start and adjust slowly from there only if necessary. Many new subwoofers even state in their manual not to exceed a certain volume until X amount of hours, just like you shouldn't hammer on a new car; I am nervous that this guy may have casually damaged my subwoofer.

Next, the Phase was now set to 180, and the Input was set to Low level (while using a High level input harness). Since it was set to Low level, it caused the subwoofer to play a loud tone while the car was turned off and no audio source was connected. Much more length of ground cable was used than necessary; there is several extra feet of ground cable coiled up under my spare tire. I also gave the installer 17ft of 8ga OFC wire and he probably only used half of it but did not return the remainder. He also didn't secure the sub in the trunk using the velcro straps I had provided for him. I feel like this guy didn't actually know what these settings do which gives me a terrible feeling in my stomach every time I think about it given what I paid for the install.

I had previously got 3 cars window tinted here 6-7 Years ago, and they still holding up. I decided to take a 4th car there recently, not sure if they sold the Biz or just the customer service depleted over the years. I walked in at opening and told a guy name Ali, I need my windows tinted all 5.I was quoted over the phone $240. He sai yes yes. I specified I jave no appointment, but can schedule one if his busy, he said not busy but leave it all day. I said no I can't leave it all Day, but can come back. Raison why I didn't want a rush job in between other cars. I stated ,I was a retuning customer, and had good reviews for them on Google, and things went south from there. Ali replied they don't car about google, or what people say on there, with a rude tone, then said he doesn't own Google. He continued, his business model goes from words of mouth. I replied ok. Then he says you leave car, I said non, at this point I was reconsidering do I really want to do business with a guy who doesn't care about reviews?
