Never ate here and likely won't. On Labor Day, driving back from the Tigers game we wanted to find a fast and simple place to eat on the way home as takeout and seen online Leo's was open. We placed our order online while driving and when we arrived to pick up our food, the place was closed at 3:00pm due to holiday. Bummed out we opted for fast food. But to get to the issue at hand, we asked for a refund on the order since we never received our food. They said they couldn't refund us and had to go online to the third party vender or whatever it is and a manager helped walk my wife through the form to fill out our issue. Someone would get to us in the next few days. That was 3 weeks ago. She has since filled out the form again at the recommendation of someone at Leo's. We still have not heard back on the form. We went in to talk to the manager face to face and they were out. Left our contact info this past Tuesday and here it is Thursday and we called asking if we could just receive the food that we paid for and were told no. So they are taking $50 of our money and we received no food? We have been at this for nearly 4 weeks now and have been turned in circles. At the end of the day, their system for online ordering shouldn't have even accepted our order if they closed early. I get it was holiday and all, but having worked in food service on holiday's like Labor day, they shouldn't have taken our money when we were not served the food we ordered. Read moreIf I could put a lower rating I definitely would. My fianceé, son and myself went into their establishment at 1:37 p.m. on March 28th, 2017. We sat down waiting for one of the three waitress that they had staffed to come take our order or at least greet us. Not sure if it was a race thing or not, but from what I felt it had to have been. Because three other guest came in after us at different times. Each of the guest were greeted and orders were taken right away once they sat down. It was obvious that they saw us when we entered because I'm a 6'6" black male and made eye contact with two of the waitress when we entered. As we were sitting there each of the waitress passed us up at least two times each minimum, but still didn't take our order or acknowledge our presence of sitting there. Our son is 2 so I'm pretty sure they over heard his voice as he was speaking out loud. It didn't let this bring me down from having a good day, but I feel that it needs to be known of our experience here. Read moreI order from here almost daily (during the week) and I can understand it gets extremely busy at lunch, but today and this wasn't the first time, I was asked to hold which I did for 5 minutes waiting, listening. I heard the cashier cash out the people she was helping while I was on hold, then I heard normal diner noises, then I heard her say table 4, I continued to hold hoping she would realize I was still on the phone that was sitting off the hook on the counter. After 5 minutes I hung up. I tried calling back MULTIPLE TIMES and it went straight to voicemail, most likely because she left the phone completely off the hook on the counter. Eventually I gave up and ordered from OSCARS right next door and when I went to pick up from Oscars I called Leos again just to see and guess what, the phone was still off the hook. I am writing this because the OWNER needs to know that he has lost a daily customer to Oscars now and I can tell you this, if a manager or the owner were to look at the sales for today they will see between 1145am til 1215pm (the last time i called) there will show no phone orders placed.
