One rotten employee can really ruin things for a company. I order from this Domino's location regularly. The food is consistently good and they delivery is always quick. I am always very satisfied.
Well, not tonight. A really rude and pushy employee named Angela was so impolite and unhelpful that I may not order here any more.
If I ever do order here again, I will call and ask if she is working and if she is, I will order from a different pizza place.
In a nutshell: I ordered online at 10:33 (the timestamp on my confirmation email). 30 minutes later the delivery hadn't arrived. I checked the Dominos tracker, it said the order was still "in prep" and had not started baking.
Called the local store and after listening to an insufferably long sales pitch for garlic knots and breadsticks, a woman (who I found out later her name is Angela) answered the phone.
I started to say I was calling to check on an order and she cut me off bluntly and said "It's out for delivery".
OK, fine but here is where she gets really off. Everything I said for the next minute or so, she contradicted me and tried to tell me things that I know were untrue. And was very rude in the process.
So I said OK, I was just checking because the tracker said it the order is still in prep. She said "The tracker has nothing to do with the actual status". (WRONG) I said no, that's not true, I order all the time and is always pretty much accurate (that is how I know when to be at the door with my money, or go pick up the carryout order).
Then she changes her story and said well it's run by corporate so they don't know anything about it at the store.
OK fine. I said, well I was only checking on the order because it has been over 1/2 hour, again she used her blunt pushy voice and said "It hasn't been 1/2 hour". (WRONG).
I said "it has been more than 1/2 hour" she said "No, it has only been 20 minutes" I said "I have the confirmation email right in front of me, it is time stamped 10:33 (at this point it was approximately 11:05).
So now she changes her story again. She says "Well delivery is 45 minutes". I said "Since when"? because as I said I have ordered from this store dozens of times, it is almost always around 20 minutes, never more than 30. It has never, ever been 45 minutes.
So I said "Since when" and before I could finish my sentence she interrupted and said "It has always been".
This review is typed so I am not able to convey the rude tone of voice and the curt manner that she is using.
I said "fine" and hung up.
So, my issue is not with the tracker status or even how long it took to get the delivery. My issue is with an abrupt, pushy, impolite, defensive employee that tried to tell me all sorts of things that weren't true, even though I had the facts right in front of me.
I hope someone from the store and/or corporate is able to listen to a recording of this call.
I never say this but I will say it now: Angela is an awful employee. Fire her. Get rid of her. She is bad for your business.
If she treats customers this way, I can only imagine what her co-workers feel about her. Interview them in private with a guarantee of confidentiality, I am sure you will...

I normally do all of our take-out orders because My guy has not gotten one single order correct, mostly because he refuses to call and place an order if there is an option to place the order online and if the order doesn't seem to appear correct he still will place it, he will not call or review why. Then the order shows up overpriced and at least one or more incorrect items. So now my review is 100 percent satisfactory, not only did I not have one issue or moment of difficulty in ordering, but The manager from the store called me up after I placed my order because I had accidentally put no cheese on one half of my pizza. So he was calling to be sure that is what I wnted which it wasnt so he fixed it and I had also forgot one item on the other half which I wouldnt have known had he not read the pizza back to me!    Read moreThis dominos is flipping AWESOME. We ALWAYS finish the entire pizza every single time. The parm bread bites are fluffy little bursts of paradise on your taste buds and they stay soft for when you want some later! If you haven’t tried the cookie brownie you aare seriously missing out, it’s HUGE, SOFT WARM AND ABSOLUTELY DELECTABLE. I mean honestly idk how they are able to sell it at such an insanely low price…ALL of the food for that matter. Oh and if you want the thinnest crust??? See photos below! So. Frickin. Thin. It’s awesome. Just be aware: A delivery comes WAY FASTER than they say it will tho (kinda awesome when you’re starving) so be ready to eat when you’re ordering because you don’t have long at all till it arrives! Like MAYBE half an hour:)
They NEVER forget the side sauces or dressings, ever.
This location is legit and run like a well oiled machine.
