Hangar Pub and Grill of Pittsfield — Restaurant in Pittsfield

Being in customer service myself I am VERY dissatisfied by our most recent visit. The food is usually decent however service is under satisfactory levels. Bartender seems too have no personality as well nor cares too help her team! Definitely one of the better options in pittsfield. I will say this is exactly the same quality and same sauce selections as say Wings Over Worcester-- Better quality boneless wings would be nice as our order of 1 1/2 lbs. was very wimpy. Our other disappointment was the fact of the service being absolutely horrible. Mind you we ordered pick up!!! The blonde girl serving ignored me 5 times when standing at the counter. She also locked the door on people at 8.30 pm. Not one person greeted anyone on the way in nor acknowledged that there were 3 people waiting by the check out line for over 10 min. The bartender didn't even care too look down at us 3 and even mention too someone that we were waiting. By the time we received our food and went home. The onion rings were super soggy and the chicken was not how the quality usually is. May not seem like a long time has gone by .... But it has in the customers mind. We don't care how your day has been or whose been rude YOU need too buckle down and smile and wave....I work with people every day. Some yelling at me because they have no tracking number!!! Once that phone hangs up and then rings again....COMPLETE NEW ATTITUDE.... Serving aka customer service is an acting job! Please be better at smiling and engagement of the customer! Even if short staffed.... No debbie...

Brought my friends from out of town to the Hangar tonight dinner, sat at the bar, had attentive service and good drinks. When it came time to cash out, our check had $1 extra charge for ICE PER DRINK, and a $2 charge for salsa that CAME with the nachos.... bartender refused to give us her name (the printed check receipt had “PM B” as the server name) and never responded to the inquiries about the extra charges for things that USUALLY come standard with DRINKS and NACHOS, such as ICE and SALSA. After I finally got her name (Kristin, or however it’s spelled) she told me that she “didn’t have to deal with” us! I have managed/worked in the restaurant & hospitality industry for the better part of the last 11 years and NEVER have received such disrespect, embarrassment amongst other patrons, and rudeness from ANYONE in the service industry. Still, the food was great, which is what makes this experience...

Always love coming here when in the area. We’re from Rochester, NY and are in Buffalo all the time, so love great chicken wings. Hangar’s boneless are among some of the best you can get, and their traditional wings are good too. Right now they have a really good hot Korean BBQ that goes great on boneless. Great selection of beers too, and lots of sandwiches and menu items are way cheaper than other places in the North East right now. Usually when we come to town this place is mobed, but this weekend it was dead when we went or passed it. Hopefully it is just fluke times when we went by and the business is doing well! Server and bartender were both really nice! Hope to be able to come here when ever we visit the area for...
