Berkshire Scrubs — Local services in Pittsfield

I went into this store for the first time last night. It was basically just a hole in the wall with some scrubs and accessories, that wasn't even the issue...I picked some scrubs out to try on, asked to use the "fitting room", the sales person asked me how many items I had, after trying on the scrubs I had picked out I left the fitting room and started putting back the scrubs I didn't like. The sales person freaks out telling me to give him the scrubs, he takes the scrubs and counts them multiple times questioning me again about how many I had taken in, once he realized that I came out with the same number I went in with he just puts them all back behind the counter not even asking if I wanted to buy any of them. I felt so disrespected by that point I refused to even buy the scrubs I had wanted. I know theft is an issue when owning a retail store but to treat your customers like that you are bound to lose a lot of business. I know I will not be going back into that store because of that. there are better ways of going about making sure people don't steal from your store, that was not one of the...

The store was clean, however between the music the television on the wall and the computer behind the register all playing loudly, not a great atmosphere. The associate was unfriendly and rude. The dressing room was a small closet like area with a contractor light on the floor a really unstable stool and the walls looked like they weren't even solid or attached. Very "sketchy" . When I went to the dressing room I was treated like I was going to steal something. The selection for larger sizes leaves much to be desired. If you're a s-xl you have a good selection anything over that.. like a 2x you're not going to find much. I did buy a few things and then got them home and decided I didnt care for them at all.. When I went the next day to return them, he said I couldn't get my money back only exchange items. No where in the store did it say anything about that policy. He became very rude when I said I didn't want anything else and told me "go to wal-mart " and try to find something there. I will NEVER shop...

I had a very pleasant visit. I bought some uniforms and the sale person was nice. I had a problem with my new bank card and had to come back with cash and he was very nice about it. His little girl was playing nicely and watching a video at the counter and behaving nicely. As for the dressing room I Am sure that will improve in time when he can do some construction. I will definitely go back. As for variety of sizes it is like any other store things get picked over if you cannot get there before everyone else....
