Thrive Diner! What a pleasant surprise! I had the mockball sub with quinoa salad on the side, with a vanilla soda. The first delight was the all natural vanilla soda. A clear brew of comfortable vanilla with a clean and bright finish which only enhances anything youād choose to eat after a sip.
The mock meatball has a just right, to the tooth texture, with a perfectly seasoned, light black peppery spice that leaves one with the assurance that every bland thing you thought about vegan food is now just a myth. It is absolutely the best meatball, genuine or mock, that Iāve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The marinara was spot on in every way. All on a roll that may have been pretzel, but whatever it was, it was fresh, flavorful, and everything I find pleasing in a quality roll.
I had a plate of food that that was the perfect serving size, left me feeling full and satiated but with no belly bomb happening! As my friend said, ājust wait until you see how good you feel after eating here.ā Correctly stated! I intend to visit Thrive Diner to partake in every item on their menu.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn the heart of Pittsfield, Massachusetts is this cute low key vegetarian/vegan diner. It's located near BMC so convenient for a lunch spot. I've visited this location 6 times so I have a good feel on the environment. It has all the diner feels. The diner is an old train car turned eatery. It's a 1936 sterling train car diner. The inside is small with 8 booths, 1 table, and diner countertop seating. The inside was clean and organized. The inside has A/C and clean bathrooms.
The food was great. I've had the bang bang cauliflower wings (my favorite), BBQ cauliflower wings, southwest bowl, sweet potato fries, Fresh natural soda (blueberry my favorite) and dessert chocolate chip cookie and oatmeal raisin cookie (my favorite).
The service has been great! I usually have PJ as my server and honestly he seems to run the front of the house and does a phenomenal job. He is calm, collective, knowledgeable and attentive! Out of my six visits only once did it really seem like chaos but PJ wasn't there the kitchen ran out of stuff, kitchen seem to be crazy and the dining area too!
If you enjoy vegetarian or vegan options then this is a great choice!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy partner and I were driving from upstate New York back to Connecticut. We decided to go here for a quick bite as opposed to backtracking to Albany. For finding an all vegan restaurant in the middle of nowhere and having pretty good chili fries this place gets three stars. However, the server that was operating the register and distributing the pickup orders was extremely rude. When I told her we were there for our pickup order, she was extremely annoyed and condescendingly told us that it wasnāt ready (even though the electronic platform that we set up our order on had told us the time to come in and get the order...). The chef (not the rude server who was distributing the pickup orders) then came out and told us that someone else had taken our order and that they would have to remake it. The chef was super nice. So we had to wait another twenty minutes for our food because this person who shouldnāt engage with customers didnāt verify someoneās previous order. Honestly, I wouldnāt even be writing this review if the server hadnāt been so unfriendly. Still, if you go here, get the...
