Ben & George's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Pittston Township

Hi I am a retired military and with prior owners I have coming to this place since I moved about 2 blocks away on the same street and had been a regular customer for about 15 years on the 5 July 2025 I took my senior sister and her husband from New Jersey to have some dessert ice cream the problem was that my sister is lactose intolerant and can't have ice cream with any dairy so I ask the gentleman there (john) if he had any ice cream with out dairy his answer" Why would some one that can't have dairy come to ea ice cream" very sarcasticly I reply with respect "sir this is for my sister and she is from out of town and have been coming here for afterabout 15 years I live down the street and he replied the only thing we have without dairy is Italian ice, like that is ice cream so I placed my order and after we finish we kindly left, but this shows the knowledge of ice cream that this gentlemen has because they are lots of ice cream lactose free as well as yogurt, this is the second time within the last 2 weeks that this gentlemen has shown some type of racism towards me , and we nor no one should have to be treated with sarcasm or be treated differently because of race, thank you and God...

Don't waste your money. I stood in line at the walk up window for 30 minutes while the employees were taking care of the steady stream of vehicles that poured in after we were already standing in line. After this 30 minute wait (mind you I didn't get an apology for the wait or told it would be a minute for the drive thru.) Instead I'm met with an attitude on how they're understaffed and they can't handle a drive thru window and a walk up window.

I will not be back and I encourage everyone else considering going here to spend your money where your business is appreciated,...

The ice cream is great, the cashier was pleasant and helpful, the older gentleman was quiet and seemed annoyed and looked at me strangely as if he was angry but never said anything, regardless he didn't seem happy and asked his cashier a lot of questions about our order but never greeted us and could of asked us the questions about our order I really didn't get his attitude, the place looked clean and it has out door seating as well as a drive through I would love to come back but the dirty looks I...
