I wanted to try this place for quite a while. On 9/8/23, I convinced my wife and another couple(who wanted to go somewhere else) to try Tekilas. We were greeted quickly and politely by the hostess to a table we requested outside. She gave us our menus and returned quickly with our specialty drink menus. We sat there for nearly 20 minutes until my wife went back to the hostess to remind her we were there. She apologized and said someone will be with us. After another 10 minutes, another waitress outside of our section must have realized how long we were sitting there and came over for a drink order(great job!). Our waitress finally delivered our drinks(one was incorrect). We ordered 2 burritos and fajitas for 2. The other couple enjoyed their burritos and the casadia my wife and I shared was burnt and stuck to the pan. At this point we picked through it and ate what we could and left the rest. I thought when the waitress saw what was left and didn't want it to go she would have questioned it. Nope, but not surprised. On a high note, the margaritas were very good. I ordered a second. Overall, we were there for over 2 hours for four people. I may go back and sit at the bar, order a margarita and when I got hungry try something else to eat. Otherwise, I think this will be a pass with all of the other great mexican options in this area. I'm a simple guy. Get me a drink and I can wait & bring me my check when I'm done so I can be on my way. Everything else in between is...

My wife and I saw the new sign, we like the style of food, so we thought we'd give it a try as it's pretty close to us.

We were seated by the hostess as soon as we walked in the door, she brought over some chips and mild salsa & our waitress was over in a minute or two. She took our drink order and when she came back, she took our food order..

The menu isn't small or big - I'd say just about right. There are plenty of choices for anyone & everyone. There's even a dedicated lunch menu, for those wanting something for maybe during the week on their lunch hour.

The food came out quickly, but not TOO fast. It was hot and was exactly as ordered. Once we all started in a bit, the waitress came back to check on us, which is always a good thing!

What we ordered was yummy, good portion sizes and the cost per serving was very reasonable.

The inside still shows signs of the previous occupant, as it looks like Tekilas is still setting up. Not a big deal really, but we got a chuckle out of it. :)

Overall, worth the visit! Quick & pleasant service, good menu selection, reasonable prices & good tasting...

I wouldn't recommend. We ate there last night. Ordered a coke from the fountain and ice tea. The cheese dip is good, that's the positive. Unfortunately the rest of the experience was sub par. Started off looking at the menu you can tell they are trying to save money. We were given a menu that says lunch then was explained in order to order dinner (it was dinner time, approx 5pm) that we use the lunch menu and they "create" the meal. No prices. I don't like that I want a dinner menu with prices. So we ordered cheese queso, chemistry, and fajita tacos. Some without sour cream. The restaurant was empty only us in it. The food came out covered in sour cream. It was fixed pretty quickly but tough to overlook since only 2 meals were being made in the kitchen. Very Bland food needs seasoning. The food overall wasn't very good. I was also very shocked when we received our bill to find $16 in charges for our 2 ice teas and cherry coke. I don't think I will return when there is better options for the price...

I really wanted to try this place because of all the great reviews I read, so we went for lunch on a Saturday. We were seated immediately and given a menu--they have the typical Mexican fare from street tacos to chimichangas, Chile Relleno, burritos....you get it. The drink menu is 🔥... My daughter ordered a cucumber jalapeno Margarita and I ordered a sangria Margarita. Mine was really sweet but good. She enjoyed hers as well. We ordered the chorizo and cheese appetizer-- we really enjoyed this. I ordered a burrito with chorizo and steak and my daughter ordered street tacos. The street tacos were filled with meat! She ate one and was full, so she took the rest home. I ate about a quarter of my burrito and took the rest home. That was the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. When I reheated my burrito and cut into it, it was mostly rice and black beans with barely any meat... So disappointing.

I saw some good reviews, so I wanted to try this spot while out of town. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked in and was greeted and decided to sit at the bar. Alfonso was my bartender/server, and he was also serving the entire restaurant along with a couple of others. They need a few more hands on deck. I started with the margarita, which I didn't care for. I then had the merlot, which was good. For my meal, I had the El Ranchero, and that was with chicken and shrimp. It was a tad salty. I ate as much as I could but couldn't finish. While the server was doing his best and very nice, I had an ok experience!

Food and service was amazing!!! The margaritas were slighty weak unless Im an alcoholic lol, and the strawberry was a little too sweet for me, too much syrup, but Im surprised this place isn't packed cause this place in definitely "diamond in the rough"...The building kind of looks deceiving for a restaurant but it definitely provides all the qualities you are looking for when it comes to Mexican cuisines!! I have regular margarita, strawberry jumbo margaritas, and chimichanga dinner edition (not the menu yet but ask for dinner portion, on the menu they only have it on the lunch) SOOOO DELICIOUS!!
