Donut Connection — Restaurant in Pittston

My first experience with a Donut Connection was at this location recently, and there was a lot of hype for me. Long story short, I had driven past this shop a few years ago on the way to visit family, but didn’t have the chance to visit. Years later, I’m called back to this town, and getting a donut becomes a priority.

At 10:00 or so on a Tuesday morning, the line was long. Still, you could tell that staff were working as effectively as possible. One person helped me with my donut order after I learned that Boston creme was out, and that was greatly appreciated.

The chocolate glazed donut I ordered was cakey and thick, in a great way. Another donut with a cream filling was also good—heavier than Krispy Kreme but enjoyable. The coffee was totally fine.

All in all, the hype was lived up to, if not exceeded. Donut Connection will forever be remembered as a pleasant donut...

IF YOU DON'T GO HERE YOU'RE MISSING OUT!! The one thing I love about this location is it's still that old timey feel of a donut shop, you're not owned and operated like a big market chain, they're down home good people who care about the people! And in this day and age you cannot find good customer service, but here you absolutely can, they're noted for having the best coffee in the area, I give the coffee five stars out of five, it was delicious! I think I'm going to make the trip to get my coffee...

I’m new to the area. This is now my go to place before work. It does get busy, but it’s a local small business and not a Dunkin’ so I never get mad. I take it as a good sign that I’m getting something good if everyone else wants it. I need my morning coffee, and I’m very picky! No complaints! My co workers LOVE the donuts!
