I recently dined at Golden Star Chinese Restaurant in Pittston, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with authentic flavors. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and the Pork Lo Mein, and both were cooked to perfection. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy sauce. The Lo Mein noodles were savory and full of fresh ingredients.

The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. It's rare to find such high-quality food at such great value! The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. My order was ready quickly, and everything was piping hot and freshly prepared.

First let me say that I usually get pork lo mein, which is very good but always salty. I chose to veer from the usual and ordered pork fried won tons and I was extremely sorry. The won ton was very hard and chewy and the pork filling was awful. It had a very unfavorable flavor to it, and I was absolutely sorry. Now, with that said my family and I order from there often but as I said usually the food is over salted so if you have an issue with salt then this is not the place for you. Upon entering the restaurant the entire dining room is cut off by panels of black curtains. It made the place seem very small and unwelcoming as well as dark. The gentleman who took the order was pleasant and the food came out fast, as we were waiting this time in the car. Four orders with no extras was $50.00, which in my opinion was expensive considering at this time it's take-out only. So in my opinion, it's your call as to whether or not you want to try their food. I can tell you I'm sure our family will order from here again. But just be warned of the cons I listed above before you make your choice. Good luck and good...
